Overall, I’m happy with how they handled it. I dropped them an email and got a reply same day; they promised a replacement mug and the rep said he’d personally inspect it. Bit slow on postage, though.
Family-mug moment
Blew a bit of a fuse in my head when I unwrapped it — not because it was fancy, but because it felt like someone had bottled a joke, hug. The Penmanship mug arrived for my 90th, sent over from California, and I made tea in it that morning. It's weighty, handle fits my hand nicely (no fiddling), glaze is smooth, keeps brew warm. At first I wondered if it would chip in the post, but it's solid — the funny underside saying still makes us chuckle, and it's become a ritual. Lovely.
