I bought this hoping it would help me test jewellery and metal bits at home, as I was unsure about possible nickel content. Sadly, it gave no reaction on several items I know contain nickel. Bit disappointing really. I’m glad I tested it quickly, though the lack of refund support made it worse.
Six airport trips later
Honestly, I’d steer clear. I only used this belt on six airport runs, so it wasn’t being put through anything dramatic, but the buckle tongue still snapped. I sent photos to support and, following their instructions, posted the belt back at my own cost. Then they said I’d used it too roughly, which felt unfair, and offered a repair only if I paid another £12 postage. I asked for it returned instead, but that also meant paying. Left a bad taste, especially as other brands have dealt with faults without all this fuss.
Soft metal, disappointing response

Fair enough, I understand the reason behind the material, but it still feels like a weak point in something meant to be used every day. What put me off more was being told used belts cannot be refunded. It works again for now, but I’m not especially confident in it.
Cheap feel, pricey mistake
there’s no opening under the buckle for the tip to pass and sit in the loop, so you can’t really use it properly. Bit annoyed, to be honest. Save yourself the hassle — check cheaper options on AliExpress or ask for clear photos first.
Little hiccup, proper sorted
So funny thing — I actually felt proper chuffed once it was all sorted. At first there was a mix-up and I ended up with the wrong belt (tags still on, so obvious), and yeah, I was a bit miffed. I emailed, sent photos and a quick video because I wanted to show them exactly what I’d received. There were a couple of back-and-forths, and I won’t lie, I nearly gave up. Then, about halfway through the second day, someone from the shop picked it up properly and arranged the exchange. That moment — when they confirmed the correct belt was on its way and the return was covered — I breathed out and actually smiled. The new belt arrived in good time, fits well and looks just like the pics on the site. Service wasn’t flawless, but they fixed it and that counts for a lot. If you order, keep all the tags and take a quick video if anything’s off — saves faff. Really pleased with the outcome, and a bit relieved too. Would recommend, especially if you’re patient and keep records.
The moment I stopped worrying
I spotted this belt on a mate's Instagram and thought, why not — looked smart and not OTT. My main worry was the metal against my skin, I often react to cheap hardware, but at first it behaved fine so I was hopeful. I wore it to a few meetings, then to a proper do in a suit and, honestly, that weekend was the turning point. Midway through the evening I caught myself checking my phone and actually noticed the belt still looked as neat as when I put it on. That’s when I realised I could stop worrying about it scratching or discolouring, which is a tiny relief but a real one for me.
I like that it sits comfortably with a suit but is casual enough for jeans — I’ve been switching it between both and it doesn’t scream “trying too hard”. The clasp didn’t irritate me like other ones have, and the finish has held up through a few long days at the office. There are tiny marks if you look up close — inevitable, right — but nothing that bothers me in day-to-day use. I also tipped my sister to get one and she’s been pleased too, so that’s reassuring.
Ordering was straightforward, delivery arrived sooner than I’d expected, and when I had a quick question by email the reply was polite and actually helpful, not the canned stuff you dread. Overall I’m pleasantly surprised and quietly grateful it worked out — it’s one of those small purchases that just makes getting dressed a bit easier. Will probably buy another colour at some point.
