Halfway through a rushed morning I held them up to the light and thought — this is the pair that fits my life. I've ordered three times from Ublins now, and it's during that third unwrapping that I realised I was happy. The frames are bold, colourful and not those boring shapes you see everywhere; I wear mine for work calls, walking the dog and when I need to read in cafés. They feel good on my face, the prescription is spot on, and the price is sensible for the quality. Customer service sorted a small issue quickly over email and even offered a replacement, which helped. Not flawless — small scuff on the case — but I keep coming back.
Deck-ready shades
Wasn't sure about 'spooky' frames but took a punt and got two pairs for the cruise. They sit nicely on my nose, lenses are clear and not too heavy — felt comfy straight away. Loads of people noticed; honestly glad I bought them, recommend both.
Nearly perfect specs
Needed new progressive specs after a dodgy pair — I was nervous. They're comfy, sit well on my nose and adapt quickly. Service polite, not perfect, but solid. Turnaround was quicker than I expected.
Nice specs, slow replies
Sat on the sofa trying them on, they’re smart-looking and comfy. Delivery was quicker than I thought and nice, but when I messaged support about loose screws it took a few days to get back. All in all I’d buy again, but quicker replies please.
Festival find
Spotted these on a mate at a rainy festival and thought, yeah, gotta have them. Ordered straight away and even tipped my sister to grab a pair too. They look brilliant, proper colourful and give you a bit of personality. Only problem was the fit; they dug in behind my ears and after a couple of hours my ears were sore, tiny blisters even, so I had to take them off. Luckily they include instructions to tweak the fit, which was a relief. I haven't had time to adjust them yet, but overall I'm chuffed.
