Skincare and cosmetics products
I've been a loyal customer of Violet Jordan for a while now, and I have to say, their skincare and cosmetics products are absolutely fantastic. The cleanser not only looks good but also does a great job at removing all the makeup and dirt from the day, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. The eye cream is excellent value for money and feels really smooth and nourishing when I put it on, making it a key part of my daily routine. The mascara, in its cute little tube, lasts all day without smudging, so my lashes stay looking great from morning 'til night. But my absolute favourites are the Dew, Pearl, and Berry sticks - they're genius! They instantly brighten up my complexion and give it a nice glow with just a few swipes. These little gems have changed the game for me and now I can't be without them in my makeup bag. I even treated myself to the foot cream, and it's so luxurious - it's rich and hydrating, which has made it not only a personal favourite but a hit with my husband too. Thank you, Violet Jordan, for creating such amazing products that really stand out and are miles ahead of other skincare and cosmetics brands.
Trio Lip & Cheek Stain Set
I was so excited to try out these cheek and lip stains - they looked gorgeous in pink and seemed really luxurious! I wanted to show my support for small businesses, so I gave them a go. The pearl shade was my favourite, but unfortunately, when I used them, my skin ended up feeling greasy instead of absorbing the product like I expected. The berry shade didn't suit my skin tone or eye colour at all, it just made it look like I had poorly applied a bright lipstick, no matter how lightly I layered it on. I take good care of my skin and have minimal sun damage, so I was quite upset with the outcome. It would have been much better if they had different formulas for varying skin tones and textures! I wish they had a lighter, pinker shade that didn't turn out so dark and mauve on me. Also, the "dew" was basically just like any regular lip balm. I won't purchase these again, but they might work for someone with a similar skin tone and eye colour. They should really think about offering samples for people to try out first.
Makeup products for mature skin
Being an older customer, I must say that the makeup products for mature skin from this brand are truly amazing. As I've aged, my eyebrows and eyelashes have definitely changed, and these products have been a real lifesaver. The dewy stick works wonders on my unruly eyebrows, giving them just the right amount of definition without looking too harsh. The eyeshadow stick has the perfect colour for my eyelids, offering a subtle yet flattering shade. And let me tell you, the berry stick is absolutely the best lipstick I've ever tried. The soft colour can be layered for a darker look, depending on how I'm feeling that day. These sticks are super handy and simple to use, especially since my eyesight isn't as great as it used to be. The mascara is a joy to use, especially on my thinner and shorter lashes. The fine brush ensures every lash gets coated evenly, and the mascara comes off easily without any rubbing. Overall, these products have made my makeup routine so much easier and I couldn't be happier with how it looks.
Berry stick, pearl stick, cleanser, moisturiser
The products I bought from your store have been a bit of a mixed bag for me. I really like the berry stick - it's great for when I'm going for a more natural makeup look and it goes well with my skin tone. Although, I did find that it works best with a bit of foundation or tinted moisturiser underneath. I'm actually on my second berry stick now because it's become a regular part of my makeup routine.
As for the pearl stick, I use it every now and then as a highlighter to give my overall look a bit of a boost. As for the dew stick, I don't really see the point of it myself. It just seems like a moisturiser, which might be helpful for people with really dry skin.
Now, onto the cleanser and moisturiser - unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with them. I found them to be quite thick and didn't really do much for my skin.Mascara, skin cleanser
I was a bit hesitant to give these products a go at first, as I've been disappointed by other makeup brands before. But let me tell you, these products are absolutely fantastic! They are super simple to use and really improve the look and feel of my skin. I particularly adore the mascara, even though I don't typically wear it. And the skin cleanser is just right for my skin. I won't be switching to any other brand in the future, that's for sure!
Face makeup trio and Mascara
I bought the face makeup trio and mascara from this shop recently, and I have to say, I am now a huge fan of their products. The face makeup trio is really easy to apply and does amazing things for my skin. The mascara is especially good for older lashes, giving a nice, comfortable wear and a lovely look. Bundle purchase
I bought the bundle deal and I have to say, it's really good for me. I haven't tried the cleanser and moisturizer yet, but the sticks are amazing. They might not be dramatic enough for a fancy night out, but they're perfect for everyday wear. I wore them at the weekend and even got a compliment from a friend on how nice I looked. The mascara is also great - easy to put on and no clumps. However, my only complaint is that the lids are too loose and keep coming off in my handbag. I had to put them in a food bag to stop them getting damaged. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4 stars.
Dew stick, berry blusher, highlighter
I originally thought the product reviews were great, but sadly, my experience with the Dew stick, berry blusher, and highlighter was really disappointing. I don't wear makeup often, so I wanted something easy to use. However, the Dew stick felt rough on my skin, the berry blusher didn't blend properly, and the highlighter was dry and hard to put on. I even wondered if I got old products because they weren't up to standard. I was planning to buy these as a gift for my sister, but after my own bad experience, I'm relieved I didn't get more.
Natural makeup order
I treated myself to some natural makeup, but my skin just isn't feeling it. I wanted to cancel my order, but the email address doesn't seem to be working. Now, I'm left with products that are no good for me. The blush is way too light, and the Dew is practically see-through. I'm keen to send them back, but how can I do that if the email is rejecting my messages? The guarantee doesn't seem to be worth much in this situation.
Greasy product, disappointing
I bought this really greasy product after seeing loads of ads for it on social media. But, to be honest, it was a total letdown. It had no colour at all, just felt like a cheap, greasy mess. I wish I hadn't been fooled by all the hype and spent my money on something so rubbish. I definitely wouldn't suggest this product to anyone who wants good quality makeup.
Mascara purchase
I've tried loads of fancy mascara brands before, and to be honest, they all let me down. But let me tell you, the mascara I got from this place was something else. The Volumizer mascara totally blew me away - it made my lashes look so full and lush, without any of that horrible flaking. And the brush was spot on, it managed to coat even the smallest, sparse lashes on my older eyes. I can't recommend this mascara enough to anyone who wants a product that actually works.
Skincare products for dry skin
I've just moved to the UK and noticed that my skin has become really dry, which is something new for me. I came across an advert for a skincare brand and thought I'd give it a try. I have to admit, I'm over the moon with the results. My skin feels and looks fantastic now, even my son has commented on how good I look for an 81-year-old. So, I'll definitely be sticking with this brand for all my skincare needs from now on.
Makeup and skincare products
I've become really into makeup and skincare recently because my old products weren't really doing the trick anymore and were leaving me looking a bit cakey. But then I came across this advert on Facebook for a really cool brand and thought I'd give it a go. Oh my gosh, it's absolutely fantastic! I no longer have overflowing bathroom cabinets and makeup bags, and my skin feels amazing. My makeup looks natural and evens out my skin tone beautifully. I'm completely in love with it and would definitely recommend it to everyone. You should definitely give it a try!
A disappointing purchase
I was really let down by the product I bought. I was so excited when I ordered it, but it turned out to be a real letdown when it arrived all squashed with the instructions inside. The worst bit was when I actually used it - the shades meant to match my skin were basically invisible. It was like I hadn't put anything on at all. I felt like I'd been conned and wasted my money. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone.
Overpriced skincare products
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Lucy for getting back to me. I tried sticking with those expensive skincare products for three whole months, but in the end, I just decided to chuck them all away because it had been over 30 days since I bought them. I probably should have just listened to my own gut instinct and reached out earlier, but I couldn't shake this feeling like I must have been the one making a mistake or forgetting something.
Makeup for sensitive skin
I'm a customer in my mid-fifties and I have really sensitive skin and eczema, so it's been tough to find makeup that suits me. But then I came across this range and I was so happy with how gentle and effective it is. The pearl shade really makes my eyes and cheekbones pop, making me look fresh and youthful. And the volumizer mascara is incredible for my lashes, way better than popular brands from the chemist, but still gentle and easy to take off. It's nice to see a range that's made with people my age in mind.
