the dollar sign figures labelled as including GST were actually processed in USD. To be certain I switched the site to USD and checked the same items again — the numeric values changed in the way you’d expect if the earlier figures had been mislabelled. That moment, when the email and my own checks lined up, is when I felt satisfied. Not pleased, just relieved and clear-headed. If you’re buying from abroad, my advice is straightforward — insist on written clarification and double-check by switching the visible currency; it saves a lot of head-scratching. The company should fix the display, but at least the confirmation made things tangible.
Nearly perfect fit, if only returns were simpler
firm sole, good heel cushioning and unexpected arch support that actually made a difference after a few miles. They were a touch stiff at first, you know, but that’s normal — after a couple of walks they relaxed and felt a lot better. One thing though, they’re narrower than the chart implied; my toes were a bit squashed on the first day, then less so after stretching them in. So, comfy for day-long wear once broken in, but maybe not for very wide feet.
Packaging and delivery were fine, nothing fancy, and the materials feel decent for the price. The part that spoiled my calm was the returns situation for Switzerland. The site says returns are free — beware, that isn’t how it worked for me. I had to send returns to China or the Czech Republic and postage was pricey, with only a partial refund routed via PayPal. Not ideal, and they didn’t offer a pre-paid label like other EU customers seem to get. That said, customer service were actually kind and helpful, suggested workable options and were patient when I asked the same question twice — I’m grateful for that, really. So overall: good feel and support, helpful staff, but Swiss buyers should double-check sizing and the returns fine print before committing.Half good, mostly disappointing
not ready to rave. I bought the Margot in a wide because the photos and copy promised comfy shoes for wide feet and bunions — that’s why I tried them. At first they were passable, not perfect but wearable, until the heel area started rubbing so badly it actually tore my skin (yes, there were blood marks). That’s the main issue for me. Customer service did reply fast and offered a 20% refund, which was decent and polite, but it didn’t change the fact I couldn’t really wear them without pain. On the plus side the design looks smart and they’re lightweight, but the materials feel plasticky and the construction doesn’t match the price tag. One other thing that put me off: it’s hard to find anything less-than-five-star on their site and their social channels are full of super-positive posts — makes you wonder how genuine those reviews are. Seems like a lot of money has gone into marketing and not enough into soles and padding. If the heel area were redesigned and the price reflected the actual materials, I’d consider trying a different pair from them. For other shoppers: check the return rules, be sceptical of endless five-star feeds, and maybe give them a shot only if you can return easily. I do hope they tweak the fit — there’s potential here, but right now I’m not convinced they care enough about comfort.
Quietly impressed
the strap was a touch stiff at first but that softened after a few wears. Overall, mild price but worth it — I’ll buy again, or at least try more from them.
Bit of a faff
insist on tracking and save receipts, otherwise it's a risky gamble.
Fresh fit for sore feet
Bought these as a ballet dancer with stubborn bunions—finally shoes that fit and wash in the machine, comfortable for daily wear. Not flawless (a bit creased after a month), but very useful compared to previous brands.
Surprisingly decent pick
Totally worth it, despite the price — I needed comfy shoes because of a bad back and long commutes. I was a bit sceptical at first (pricey, you know), but they've been brilliant, comfy, and support is actually proper helpful. I’ll buy again.
Quietly convinced
Was halfway through a long shift before I realised these were actually doing the job. I’d been doubtful at first — seemed like just another label — but by lunchtime my feet felt fine and I kept them on all evening. I wear them every day for work and the odd weekend walk; proper, steady comfort.
Relief at last
Bought my first pair in Melbourne; assistant recommended square-toe because of my bunions, which actually helped. Now I own three pairs and can walk long distances without pain (surprising). Not flawless — a little stiff at first but overall honestly practical. If you have bunions, try them.
Everyday winner
Honestly, these are my go-to shoes — proper comfy even with my wide bunion feet. I ordered the wrong style but the seller fixed it after an email. Wore them for dog walks and a week in Europe — no blisters, wash well. Not perfect — tiny rub day one, settled.
Not perfect, but I keep coming back
I was sceptical — had a bad run with cheaply made shoes and needed something that wouldn’t do my feet in during a house move. Picked up a couple of slip-ons and boots. Needed a few wears to settle, but now comfy and presentable. Pricey, yet delivery and support were reliable. Pretty pleased.
Ruby-red rescue
I bought these after a last-minute "I need red shoes" crisis for a wedding — had awful online shoe luck before, so I was wary. Colour is bang-on ruby and the size guide really nailed it. Comfort? Hmm, not as comfy as they promise, the pointy toes pinch after an hour, but they looked brilliant and I'm glad I bought them.
Service really stood out
calm, quick and oddly helpful, they walked me through measurements and returns. I've had worse experiences elsewhere, so it felt reassuring. A little frustrating, but overall satisfied.
Go-to shoes at last
these shoes are a keeper. I bought two styles for my holidays — sporty sandals and round‑toe ballet flats. The sandals felt like walking on pillows from the first wear, and the flats are smartly made with good cushioning. I have bunions and they actually don’t rub, which is a really massive relief. They look nice too, so not just comfy. Tip: try your usual size. I’m now already eyeing another pair, properly chuffed.
Surprisingly roomy
I tried these boots because my feet are proper wide and I've got bunions; I've bought Margot ones from the same brand before so felt brave. Took a bit of wrestling to pull them on — needed, apparently — and then they smooshed into place like they'd always lived on my feet. Walked around the flat on the carpet and couldn't believe no rubs, no pinching, just comfy. Was half expecting blisters like other brands, so that was a nice surprise. Fingers crossed they behave on winter walks.
When comfort finally kicked in
I explained, sent photos showing they were untouched, and they agreed to swap them for a 36.5 free of charge, even though I’d missed the deadline. That was the moment I felt proper satisfied — not just with the shoe, but with how they handled it. Fit is now spot on, comfy on long shifts, only minor quibble is the delivery timing could be clearer.
A surprisingly fuss-free swap and a lovely fit
I tried this on the minute it arrived and, to my surprise, it actually feels really nice — soft fabric, sits well on the shoulders and not too stiff, just the right weight for layering. I had ordered the wrong size (silly me) and expected a faff — I’ve had nightmares returning stuff with other shops before — but the support team were proper helpful. They talked me through the exchange without making me feel daft, told me what to fill in, and even explained how the postage refund would work, which I appreciated because I’ve been burned on that before. The replacement arrived quicker than I dared hope and fits as promised. Wearing it out yesterday I kept checking the seams and pockets, and everything felt solid; that little surprise detail — a soft lining I didn’t spot online — was a nice bonus. Overall it’s comfy, does what it should, and swapping was straightforward. Not flawless — there were a couple of messages back and forth — but pleasant, easy and I’d order again.
Adjustable slides in hot pink
After checking out Vivaia's stuff for more than a year, I eventually bit the bullet and bought the new adjustable slides in a striking hot pink shade. I was really into the whole sustainable thing and was actually pretty impressed by how comfy they turned out to be. Sure, the first pair I got was a tad too big, but sorting out the return was a breeze and the customer service was top-notch. Got my replacement pair quick as a flash and I'm absolutely chuffed with them. I can't rate Vivaia and their products highly enough for their quality, comfort, and outstanding customer service.
Versatile shoes for casual and dinner outfits
I recently bought these shoes and I was really impressed by how much support they gave to my knee and high instep. They are great for both travelling and everyday wear.
Best shoes purchase
Vivaia has a really great range of shoes that are stylish and super comfy. Their customer service team is brilliant, they're always on hand to help with swaps or speedy deliveries. Vivaia definitely puts customer satisfaction first. I really like how they keep growing their range, even adding choices for girls so I can match shoes with my daughter. Keep it up, Vivaia!
