Midweek, with a cup of tea and the kit on the table, I tried to make an evening out of it. I bought two canvas kits for small projects and spent hours painting them. The supplied paint barely covers the printed numbers. We applied three coats with drying time between and the outlines still show. Delivery did arrive on time but customer service was useless — their review page wouldn't accept mine, which felt odd and left me a bit annoyed. Not what I expected.
Midnight scroll surprise
the printed canvas was clear, the numbered areas fine, and the little pots of paint matched well enough. Not perfect — one shade was a tad off and I fumbled with the tiny brush — but nothing that ruined it. Delivery actually beat the worst-case estimate and tracking was reliable. Overall, the doubts I had before paying mostly evaporated; it's not flawless but it's worth it.
