    Reviews Ziffit

Books, games and DVDs can be a great way to relax and entertain yourself. But all of these things have something in common: they all have an end. Your book is finished, your game is game over, the film has ended, and there is not much more to do. Instead of storing them somewhere and have them collect dust, you can also trade them in for cash. But who will buy your old stuff? One shop that offers to buy them is Ziffit. But how will this work? And what kind of services does this shop provide for their customers? Will they be friendly and helpful? The only real judges on these matters are the people that have sold their books, DVD’s or games to Ziffit before. Read their reviews to find out more about this entertainment buyer. Their opinions, comments, experiences and ratings can help you decide if Ziffit is the right shop to sell your old entertainment to.

    About Ziffit

Ziffit is a company that buys entertainment. They offer to buy your old, unwanted books, games, DVD’ and CDs from you. So if you finished a book and already know you’ll probably never read it again, you can sell it to them. The same goes for DVDs that you’ve seen once and know that will be enough. Some console games, especially roleplay games, follow a story and, as every other story, this story too must have an ending. Once the game is finished, there is not much left to do. And maybe you have a game you can play over and over again, but even they can get boring after a while. The same goes for songs that you have heard too many times before. In all of these cases, you can sell them to Ziffit and get some cash in return. With that case, you can buy a new book, film, CD or DVD, or spend it any way you like.

Seems quite OK - but assess its payments offered.

Easy to use service but consider whether the amount offered for each item is worth the effort.
Often not many pence are rewarded for items worth quite a lot of £s. Usually pay out to your bank account within about 12 days.
They often reject some items as sub-standard and keep them. They say they will destroy them.
All depends how money hungry you are. Some reviews elsewhere are scathing but most seem very happy with deals.
Might to simpler to cart items to a charity shop to donate and then feel a bit good that you've helped others.

    Unfairly rejected items

My first few trades with Ziffit went well, were efficient and clear. Helpful customer service when I had questions. Unfortunately more recent trades have been disappointing - perfectly good items 'expired' and books with apparently damaged pages, which were only tiny imperfections you would expect from something secondhand. Ziffit seem to deliberately not pay for one or more items per trade, which is both unfair and unethical - especially when people use this service to recycle and give unwanted items a new home. In the past they also lost one of my items, then found it and admitted some other kind of internal problem when I complained. Unhappy customer. I will speak to them first to try to reach an amicable solution but considering not using again. Other reviews online seem to suggest rejected items are often higher value.

    Avoid, they won't pay

They refuse to pay, even for brand new items, under a pretence that "they are damaged". It often happens to the higher valued items. Avoid, there are others - better and honest.
