Glad to say it's sorted now — I nearly gave up and wrote them off, but the messages finally stopped. I had unsubscribed ages ago, clicked every link, yet kept getting promos. Sound familiar? After a short call they actually fixed it, which was a pleasant surprise. Been burned by other companies before, so I was cautious.
Didn't expect to love it
I wasn't sure at first — tried a few clunky script apps before — but this one just feels right. The editor sorts the format for you so you can actually write, which is a relief. Real-time collab is mostly smooth (one tiny lag once), and the outlining helps me stop flitting between scenes. Properly impressed, I'm using it now, mainly for drafts.
Unexpected charge, tidy resolution
I went in cautious. I'd been stung before by companies who renew without telling you. They charged my updated card for year two without asking — not ideal, and it made me uneasy. I called customer support. They apologised, explained how it happened, reversed the unauthorised charge and clarified renewal settings. Compared with other firms, this was surprisingly straightforward. Still wary, but overall satisfied with how they handled it.
Mid-prep blackout
I was mid-prep for a small show — and with a dodgy back I rely on digital scripts rather than lugging heavy folders — when the site went black. It was annoying, especially because updates were sparse and contradictory; the last proper message was about fourteen hours earlier and then silence. If it really was a planned upgrade, fair enough, but a quick warning so people could grab PDFs would have avoided a lot of stress. Customer service hardly replied, which felt unprofessional. I'm relieved it's back now, honestly, but my trust is dented. I'll move my paid scripts elsewhere unless they sort their communication.
