the display would flicker, apps would jump open by themselves now and then and the camera viewfinder got glitchy. So I ordered another, swapped everything over and sent the first back for a refund. The replacement felt ok for a bit but then the same sort of jitter started again — flicker, rogue taps, things stalling — not great when you depend on it for quick snaps. By that point we’d run out of patience and grabbed one from BackMarket instead. I posted the second phone back to the original seller, with photos taken just before packing, and asked for our cash since we’d lost confidence. What followed was a long, pointed email saying the screen was cracked and implying we’d damaged it ourselves. They didn’t open a claim with the courier or really seem interested in the evidence I’d sent. Instead they boxed the phone back to me as if that settled it. In the end I sold it cheaply on eBay rather than argue for hours; not worth the hassle. It’s a shame because the phones felt fine in the hand apart from the screen problems, but the whole return process and the tone from support left a bad taste. I’ll tell people to look elsewhere next time.
