I unpacked it on the patio and halfway through I realised something was off — no back door. Made stuffing bait awkward and meant if a skunk or raccoon ever got in I'd be stuck wrestling the front door and risking a very smelly outcome. I use these for late-night bin raids by wildlife, so bad design isn't just annoying, it's inconvenient. Asked for a return and they insisted I'd cover the "free" shipping and pay to send it back. Cost to return would be more than the trap. Bit miffed, honestly.
Weird texture, not what I knew
Was midway through my evening tidy when I opened the pouch and the powder felt like damp cement — clumpy and heavy. I mixed it into the spray bottle as usual and dusted skirting boards, behind the cooker and around bins. In January nothing changed, roaches still on the move, so I tried again in February and the little ones seemed to increase. Feels like a different formula, it clogs the nozzle and doesn't distribute well. I use it during my weekly kitchen tidy, so that really hurt.
Little seller, Amazon surprise
packaging tidy, instructions clear, so I was hopeful. I did notice the parcel came from Amazon, not the small seller — a bit odd — but a couple of mornings later there were far fewer ants and I knew I was happy in the end. Mildly annoyed about the fulfilment, yet pleased with the result. Not perfect, but it works.
Sorted delivery and decent service
calm, quick and processed a partial refund straight away. Really reassured me — I'd use them again and recommend them to friends and family.
Boxes on the floor
By the time the delivery van turned away I’d already torn one box open on the kitchen floor. The adviser had actually asked sensible questions over the phone and suggested a small kit aimed at the species I had — which felt useful. I read the leaflet, followed the routines around the cooker and under the sink, and left it to do its thing while I made dinner and packed lunch the next morning. Packaging was a bit creased and one bottle had a slightly odd cap, but the treatment reduced activity almost straight away. Customer service handled the follow-up calls properly. Not flawless, but perfectly usable for everyday life.
Timing killed the job, not the product
the stuff works, but if you need it for a job timetable, order yonks in advance. I first spotted Bora Care on a local renovation thread—someone I know had used it and swore by it—so I figured I'd try a gallon when I ripped out the garage wall after finding proper termite carnage from the previous owners. Lesson learned the hard way.
