Payment Process
I found the payment process to be a bit of a pain. It was easy enough to pay with PayPal or a credit card, but getting a refund meant going through the hassle of a bank transfer. That didn't sit right with me and made me doubt the whole system.
Rental cancellation
I hired a bike from Listnride but they cancelled on me at the last minute! No one at Listnride seemed to care, it wasn't cool at all. Their service is really not the best.
First rental
I hired a bike from them for the first time and it was a total nightmare! The customer service was awful, they didn't have insurance, and they said they'd give me double the reward but they just kept the money for themselves. Really not cool!
Damage claim for rental bicycle
I had a bit of a let-down with a bike I rented on the platform recently. Even though I got insurance, listnride didn't cover the costs from another user damaging the bike, so I had to pay for repairs. Also, the fact that rented bikes aren't checked for safety is worrying because it could lead to accidents. Since this happened, I've been careful about accepting rental requests and I've stopped using the platform altogether. I'd suggest others avoid this service too.
Cancelled booking
I went ahead and booked a bike using the app, but had to cancel it because I realised the provider was a scam. It was pretty obvious they were up to no good, so I tried to get a refund, but they wouldn't give me one. Plus, they didn't even have any contact details!
Nice and thoughtful idea
I found it funny when I saw what List n Ride does.
It sounded weird for a company to be involved in renting out bikes.
I felt almost everyone had bikes or even motorcycles to ease transportation.
I knew the importance of this company when my mountain bike had a little issue and I couldn't take it around. I had to go out with my friends into the mountains the following day. It's what we've always done to bond together.
With no one to lend me a bike, I resorted to List n Ride. I put out my request with the kind of bike I wanted and I paid for it. Smooth transaction all through.
They gave me an address and by the time I got there, it had already been out out at the front of the house for whoever was coming to collect. I inspected the bike thoroughly and it was is in good shape.
I used it and didn't have any problems with it.
Would definitely use them again. Haven't found a solution to my bike yet.
