Glad I stuck with it, though there was a tiny hiccup. A mate had recommended Play More Golf and I only noticed the renewal email last week, so it was handy they phoned to check in (no hard sell). Renewal bonus was fair, communication — especially from Zak — was spot on. Happy, would recommend with that caveat.
Quick and helpful
Overall, I’m very pleased — Sandra sorted things fast. We’d accidentally double-booked with the club and there were a couple of small hiccups not caused by Play More Golf, but she fixed it straightaway. Customer service still matters; I’d tell others to ask for help sooner. Thanks, it made a real difference.
Less membership, more rounds
Cold, grey winter afternoons used to mean the clubs I had were a waste; with this pay-as-you-play setup I actually play golf more. The app’s straightforward — book a tee time, check how busy the course is (handy) and that’s it. Switching between my usual club and other courses in the network is easy and the discounted rates make trying new places less of a faff. Staff answer questions promptly, none of that waiting-in-line nonsense. If you don’t play weekly but want variety, this makes sense, and the green fees feel fair. Would like clearer cancellation notices though.
Signed up, then crickets
I thought they’d applied my rollover points last week, app even said so, but a few days later my flexi points were halved. I emailed their “customer service” asking them to confirm receipt and got nothing back. It’s the silence that annoys me more than the points change — once they’ve got your money they vanish. Delivery of what they promise (points, confirmations) feels unreliable. I’d warn friends to be cautious; the interface is okay but the follow-up and support are practically non‑existent.
