I was proper buzzing to get a MacBook Pro for photo editing and juggling work in cafés, but when I cracked it open it was dead — wouldn’t even boot. The box felt loose and the charger in there looked like theirs, yet the laptop stayed off. I’ve been chasing them for a return pickup for a refund for about two weeks now; they kept asking if the charger was ok as if that fixed a dead-on-arrival machine. Every reply comes from a different name and the pickup never actually happens, which is tiring. Still, when these machines work they’re great for my daily edits, so I’m just hoping they sort it soon.
Nearly messed the whole thing up
quick, clear, and they told me they'd re-dispatch if the parcel came back. They checked in a couple of times, asked if I'd managed to sort anything with the courier and kept me updated. The courier actually intercepted it and it arrived this morning. The product itself is exactly what I wanted — simple, solid — and I'm quietly impressed by the level of care, honestly. Small things matter, definitely recommend.
Nearly didn't order, glad I did
On the tube I kept eyeing people with new gadgets, so I finally ordered a refurbished iPad from Reborn. I was twitchy about second‑hand kit — worried it’d be flaky, have a dead battery or arrive with hidden marks — especially after a cheap tablet died on me during a deadline. Most worries proved overblown. Screen’s crisp, apps run smoothly, battery at about 81% and it easily gets me through a day's work plus Netflix. There's a tiny nick on the back but who cares. Price made the risk worth it; I bought a decent case with the savings. Service was straightforward and delivery quick.
Box behind the bins
Rainy morning, neighbour knocked to say they'd seen a box shoved behind our bins — not the best start. The rack was sent quickly but the courier left it outside without telling us, and it went missing. I reported it to Reborn Homes and Lara got on it straight away, chasing the courier and organising a replacement. She was proper efficient and kept me updated, not like the scripted replies I've had elsewhere. The new draining rack has just arrived and it's actually better than I expected — sturdy, no wobble and looks smart. Mixed feelings about delivery, but pleased with the product and the support.
Started doubtful, ended pleased
pretty solid. The metal drainer is noticeably heavy, the plastic board feels robust and, crucially, the holders slot into the grooves so they don’t slide about when you move things. The board’s slight angle really does funnel water to the sink, as they promised. I got a helpful follow-up email with simple cleaning tips, which I appreciated. I’m also glad they seem to care about sustainability — that tipped me over the line. Didn’t transform my kitchen, but it’s practical, well-made and my early scepticism has mostly faded; would buy again, slightly grudgingly proud of my own good choice.
Sensible build, frustrating rack
I was at the sink late one evening, juggling plates and a baby bottle, and realised the old draining rack had had it. So I ordered the Reborn bundle after some hesitation. The boxes felt solid and there’s a reassuring weight to the main pieces. The tray drains cleanly and the finish is neat. It all feels well made, easy to wipe, no flimsy bits. In everyday use it handles mugs and bowls fine, and the layout suits our small kitchen. But the supplied dish rack itself is a real let‑down. The support rods stick up where they shouldn’t and plates won’t sit properly; they just wobble or tip out because they don’t slot down far enough. Bottles won’t stand upright either, so I’m forever propping things up. I ended up swapping in my old Joseph & Joseph rack, which oddly fits the tray better and lets bottles drain without toppling. Bit of a shame because everything else is good. If Reborn rethinks that rack, this would be a keeper. For now I’m half pleased, half annoyed. Practical, but with a frustrating flaw.
Wrong fit, right people
Picked something that just didn't suit our plates — my fault more than theirs, honestly. There was a muddle with the order numbers which made the return feel like it might become a faff. At first I was a bit stressed. Then the customer team stepped in and things calmed down. Lara in particular kept in touch, sent updates and actually chased things for us. It was comforting to get regular messages; they apologised and made sorting it a priority. The refund came through quicker than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised by how steady the communication was — not canned replies, but real follow-up. I’ll definitely shop here again, though next time I’ll double-check measurements and compatibility before pressing buy. If you’re ordering, keep your order number handy and don’t panic if something goes wrong; they seem to sort it. Small hiccup, but the service turned it into a good experience, and that counts for a lot.
