this made our bathroom project way less stressful, though it’s not perfect. We could try tons of layouts, check wall elevations and swap tiles and colours until something felt right — which saved arguing with the builder later, honestly. The object catalogue is huge and the AI photo generator is a neat trick (sometimes a bit off, but mostly useful). The team replied quickly when I had questions. A couple of small gripes: there’s a learning curve and some parts of the interface are a bit fiddly, and I’d like clearer links to actual UK fixtures. Still, it’s clearly worth the money for the time and errors it prevents. If you’re starting a reno, give it a go, just expect to poke around a bit first, and ask your builder.
Easy pro results, really
In short, it’s the tool I reach for when I want clean, professional visuals without faffing about. I used to waste loads of time trying to get to grips with SketchUp and other clunky apps, so this feels like a proper shortcut — simple, drag-and-drop, a bit like Canva but made for interiors, and actually you can turn things round quickly. You resize, nudge, slot bits together and before long you’ve got something presentable for a client. The team clearly listen; they patch things, tweak features and pick up on feedback, which is comforting when you’ve had hit-and-miss experiences elsewhere. It’s not flawless — I’ve hit small glitches now and then — but they improve pretty fast and that keeps me coming back. For a freelancer it’s good value, far better than splashing out on long courses or expensive licences. The end result looks smart, saves me time, and has quietly changed how I work. If you’ve been annoyed by other software, give this a proper look and it saves time.
Handy for planning, really
it actually gives a proper sense of how a room will feel when you’re walking through it. The video demos got me started quicker than I expected; without them I’d have faffed about more. The AI preview is clearly still in beta, and it needs precise prompts to behave, but when you give it decent detail the results can be surprisingly useful to show to builders. Biggest win for me was spotting a clash early that would’ve been awkward — and expensive — on site. A couple of minor grumbles: some finishes don’t look quite true to life and the measurements took a touch of getting used to, but those are tweakable. Overall it’s practical, not flashy, and for planning an extension and a new kitchen it’s worth the money in my book. If you’re doing a build, give it a go — take your time with the inputs.
