Free Trial - Blogging and Graphic Design
SUPRISINGLY GOOD
I often find a lot of free stuff, whether it be a time limited trial or simply free, never quite matches the expectations.
The Shaw Academy Blogging and Graphic Design Midule 1 Diploma courses really do change my opinion. They are really rather good.
In both I have learnt multiple pieces of information that I will be using, as well as validated things I was taught 30-odd years ago.
I am currently 25% through the Graphic Design course and waiting for the 4th session on the Blogging course. I am suprised by how much I am looking forward to both, in the knowledge that I will takeaway more, I will grow a little bit in each session, and I may yet use what I learn to develop my on-line presence in many areas.

It's very concrete, and very fast, for me it's amazing, the only thing is that maybe it's too fast and not all of us could follow, of course, it's not my case, but you should keep that in mid.

Really enjoying the course so far and found everything easy to navigate and motivational to continue. The format is interactive and easy to follow with effective tools to check progress and understanding.
Graphic Design
I got the free graphic design course and the quality is good, the explanations are clear. I enjoy it very much. however what I do not like is being to buy certificates (at £40 a module) - the course has 4 modules + tookits for every module (another £40). I would prefer to have the full price upfront and make my choices in the beginning. So free doesn't really mean free, when will I ever learn that?!
Oh, and it's not interactive - it's only a "bot" who never knows the answers to any questions. Good idea, poor execution.Nutrition Diploma
So far the course is very informative. Its very fast paced without much time to take notes but I am enjoying the experience with Shaw so far.

I just joined my 1st class and it was awesome. The instructors were engaging and topics were laid out and discussed with great detail. With highly skilled instructors, topics are easily understood. There were also a lot of relevant and interesting classes available to choose from. Excited to learn and excel for my professional growth and I think Shaw Academy is doing a great job in helping me become knowledgeable and skillful in my chosen field.

Graphic Design Certificate Course
So far, the class has been good. Lots of material has been covered and the instructor has explained everything in detail.
One thing I do not like is the automated response system. It seems to reply things that are not related to the conversation in the chat system. For example, if I am trying to reply to another student, the system keeps replying to me as if I am asking it for something.Project Management
I joined Shaw Academy on a free one-month trial. When something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Information on pricing, course length, resources needed (toolkits, e-certificates, etc.) is not readily disclosed within their site even after you sign up. I emailed the customer service team and asked specific questions about pricing, and got a very generic enthusiastic reply that didn't give me actual information.
I want to know how much money I'll have to spend, how much time a course/certificate costs, and exactly what I'll end up with. When an online "academy" isn't forthcoming with that information, it sends up red flags for me. I'm going to have to do further digging before I continue, as I don't want to waste my time or money.Graphic Design
I am doing the free trial of graphic design module one. I did the first lesson this morning and found it informative and interesting. I look forward to the next couple of weeks. I used the laptop shawacademy.com version but will try the app next session.

Just startet. But it’s a good first impression so far. A little annoying with the pop ups with the diploma and the tool kit, and a little pricy if you are going to buy both within each module (including the course fee after 4 weeks free trial)

I have ordered 5 classes started 2. Absolutely loved my first web design class didnt thinkni would but I may be hooked. Still waiting for a reply to my email about a couple of problems
