I had quite knowledge already within the beauty industry, but these classes kept me entertained and focused, actually learned a lot of new stuff. Lessons are easily understood, lecturer has broad insight, explains clearly and informatively, not only reads up the slides. I like that you can schedule when you wanna attend. Price is good for what it offers, it is the additional prices I find a bit pricy, if you wanna have the toolkit, notes and wanna have a diploma.
the homepage after login is hard to see through, it takes a while to see what are your upcoming classes(it was very hard to find a way to an overview, I dont even know how I did it) and it takes way a lot clicks to reschedule. Basically you can only see your next class and two other buttons (to buy certificate and toolkit)
The continous email and sms harassing is very irritating. Email, well... they send at least 15 emails a day - about every tiny change I made on my page: (literally if I just change a letter in my name), rescheduling, editing, plus advertising emails, reminders in every hour before the next class starts. They also sent sms from two different numbers, doing all the same like in the emails. So basically I have 15 emails and sms/ day about when my next class is. This is insane for me! Had to block all the numbers after a few days:D emails are still coming, fine...
But these things cannot divert me from the conclusion which is - a pleasant experience within the industry I wanna know more details about, and even though I thought I had some basic knowledge, these classes had provided me a much deeper and detailed perspective which I can interpret in the future. Lessons Have good structure and we get guidance from a lecturer who is highly qualified within her field. Slides are just enough to make the pictures and small words burn into your brain, so it is helpful for you to remember the crucial info. Lessons are detailed but not overcomplicated. Just because it is very well explained and understandable, feels like it is very easy to implement in real life.
I would recommend it to anyone who wanna cover one specific area and to have a better insight about a field. Speaking about money - for one class it is okay, but with all the additional buy, it is too much. And €50 a month is way too much. Even though the service it provides is good, I couldnt afford it.
The profile webpage could be improved by making it easier to see through, easier to handle.i love it! I'm literally learning something and actually taking away from this class which is amazing! 10/10 def would recommend ir come back if they have more classes!
I luv it! Have always wanted to do cosmetology class, but wasnt able to cause I was a stay at home mom and couldnt afford daycare and classes, but with this app ive been able to start the class!. And its been great so far cant wait for more classes!. Thanks for this opportunity to try something that I'm interested it and that can help me get my foot in the door. And getting my future stated. Would defiantly recommend and would defiantly come back if theres more classes!. Thanks again!.

I just finished up lesson 2. I like the class and everything. I only wish they had better ways of teaching. Not everyone can learn easily by watching and listening. I myself am a hands on learner. I also am ADHD/ADD. I have a hard time staying on track. Otherwise I have no other issues except easier pay subscriptions such as monthly payments instead of ONLY 3, 6, or 12 month payments. I'm in the US and I'm not a person with lots of money. I live paycheck to paycheck.

Graphic Design Course
The course structure is good and thorough. I like that it first providing examples of how graphic design has been a part of and used in history and helped the human race to develop to where it is today. This was fascinating and interesting for me. I’m only just starting the course but so far so good. There is perhaps slightly too much communication and too many texts and reminders from Shaw Academy about when my lessons are starting and it is also slightly frustrating that you can only do a maximum of two lessons a week. I would prefer to do three or four given the country is in lockdown at the moment and I have lots of free time.

I was to first of all appreciate the management and team of professionals for putting together a great work and idea. Thumb up to you guys.
Learning has never been this easy, flexible and understanding. I put up for the leadership and management course and I have really learnt alot from the lessons I have attended so far.
The classes are mind blowing with fantastic and professional tutors who knows how to dish out lectures in a very easy manner. My managerial and leadership skill has improved tremendously within weeks I started the course.
The presentation and clarity of video are fantastic and top notch.
The most amazing is the opportunity given to students to reschedule a missed class or watch a previous class which is uploaded after 24hours of the lesson. Its shows to a great level the value Shaw Academy place on students.
More also, the reminders they send before your lesson starts and the notification that your class has started is something I find interesting and also a reminder to reschedule if you miss your class.
Shaw Academy is really a place one can learn alot of skills that can be useful both in the present and in the future. I have never regretted join the academy.
However, I will like to plead with the management to look into the area of paying for e-certificate for every module and tool kit as well. That in addition to monthly subscription makes it more expensive for student. I will suggest that the certificate should be given at the end of the entire course which means one time payment for the certificate. That will make it easier and affordable for students.
I will fail to recommend Shaw Academy to friends and family because this is the right place to be and learn good and useful skills.
Shaw Academy is the way forward for online learning, from flexibility in lecture schedule to mail reminders sent to keep one up to date with lecture time. Lecture video available for download with ease is another special thing that is available if peradventure you miss anything during the course of lecture. Easy and understandable lecture system. Started classes yesterday first class was pretty good, still a little early to tell if it will be great for the remainder of the lessons... I am interested to see by the end. . the knowledge I've gained... Because so far I feel it has been pretty good.... We'll try and update this post if something changes.... Good or bad

Sports Nutrition
Only one lesson in so far. Its good and sinple to understand. Not 5* as the slides go very fast, its difficult to make notes. You can buy pre made notes but i prefer to write my own. Replays of lectures dont appear until 24hrs after which kinda ruins the flow of information for me personally. You're also limited to 2 classes a week which is a shame as I'm self employed and on lockdown. I just want to improve my knowledge as much as i can with the remaining time i have.
Mobile App Development
I liked how they remind me of my class times, and I appreciate their communication to me about the class’s schedule. User, do beware that they offer a free class which gets you only 1/4 of the way through a 16 week certification process for mobile app development. They will also keep asking you to buy a toolkit and to purchase an eCertificate. I don’t see how this certification will impress future employers since it’s not from an accredited institution. I can’t even get my questions answered since the bot I asked did not know how to answer me. I plan to just go to a college/University to get my credentials.

Social media marketing
I got the course free from Vodafone rewards but have since found it being free elsewhere and discovered that it's only the first 4 weeks.
The course is not as interactive as it implies, you can't pause the lessons to make notes despite them being pre-recorded lessons. The content is however pretty good, I would just like to make notes without missing what subject matter follows.
Notifications... There's hundreds. I rescheduled a lesson and received at least 6 emails to say that I had rescheduled. There's the reminders that the next lesson is 24 hours away, then 12 hours away. I've had 4 emails today to leave a review to win a mac book pro (I guess I won't win it now!!) and I've even asked for no notifications but somehow still receive them!
At the end of each lesson it says 'Don't drop out' I guess the reason people do is because Shaw Academy constantly harass them with so many emails.
I do want to continue with the course, but for God's sake... Leave me alone. I'm 40 years old I don't need so many reminders!Diploma in digital marketing
Very good course I have purchased diploma in digital marketing course and the layout of the app is so simple that anyone could use and course contents are great and got to learn very great things

I’ve recently just joined for the photography class and can’t wait for it and would like to somehow send you photos I’ve taken! I’m not a professional its just a hobby that comes to me whenever I see anything (love to take photos !!!)

Graphic Design
I am a mature student and have been out of learning for many years. I find the lessons are very informative, well delivered and thoroughly enjoyable. The ability to rewatch the lessons at your own pace is extremely helpful and useful. All the tools and resources are easily accessible, well set out and helpful. I love the quizes and assignments. Communication and support is good efficient.
4week free course
The lectures are awesome and easy to grasp as if it is a classroom mode. The tutors are doing a great deal to impact knowledge. Big ups
Graphic Design: Free Premium Membership 4-week plan
I'm taking the Graphic Design: Free Premium Membership 4-week plan. I want to learn how to complete basic graphic design tasks for my personal use. I really have no interest in starting a new career or becoming a freelance graphic designer, so I think that this 4-week module should be enough for me.
Positive: Extremely convenient (especially in times of lockdown). You can schedule your virtual lessons at any time. Shaw Academy sends you constant reminders of your lessons, and if you miss any lesson, you can re-schedule it easily. The instructor in my course is very good. She explains things clearly and in a good pace. I really like the way she has prepared the material. The video and sound quality are also excellent.
Neutral: Their marketing campaign is extremely aggressive. Be prepared to receive several messages per day via email, app notifications, sms and even automated phone calls. Many are to remind you of your lessons, which I'm sure a lot of people might find useful. But there are also many recurrent messages urging to buy their toolkits and certificates or to upgrade to some other benefit. I don't think this is necessarily a negative thing, as I can easily silence my app, close notification pop-ups and filter all of their marketing emails, but I'm sure many people will find this level of marketing extremely annoying or even harassing. All in all, I'd say this is neutral.
Negative:
It's expensive. The free program I signed up to includes only the video lessons for the first four weeks. Everything else must be paid separately if I understand correctly. And it isn't cheap. Toolkits are about 30 euros each -one per lesson-, on top of the monthly fees and certificates, so you're probably looking at a few thousand euros in total, if you want to complete a full program.
I also don't like the fact that I can't download the videos for offline viewing. I understand why they do it, but I have used other premium online education platforms that do allow in-app downloads for offline usage. Considering that I spend a considerable amount of time on trains and buses, I feel I could benefit from this.
Not rated:
I don't know how prestigious this academy is compared to other online or traditional brick-and-mortar schools. I don't know if their certificates have any sort of recognition. I really don't intend to use this course to boost my CV or to increase my employment opportunities, so these are not elements I have considered.
Conclusion: For the purposes that I signed-up this is great. It's far better than simply watching YouTube tutorials. If your goals match mine as explained above, and you don't mind the aggressive marketing, I would recommend it.
