It was confusing at first because it told me that I missed the class but I was online when it started
Marketing Class
Positive: today was my second day of class. Although the class goes pretty fast, it does have a lot of information packed into it.
Negative: I wish we could rewind the class session bc sometimes I can't keep up with the pace. I also receive too many reminder emails.Diploma in Web Design

Lightroom class
I just started this class but it is easy to follow, the content is delivered in terms that are understandable.
What I don't understand is the attempt to appear "live." Since this is offered so often it has to be recorded, the comments and questions are not answered in real time. So why can't I pause the class as I try to follow along? Why do I need to sign up for a specific time and wait for it to start, why do I have to wait 24 hours to view the replay?
If this is truly "on-demand" learning let me go at my pace, let me watch when I want to, and don't limit me to 2 classes/week. I have time now, let me binge the classes at my speed.
And trying to sell me a digital certificate ro $40, and the lesson "extras" for another $40 is bad enough, but emailing me, putting it on every single page, is just too much.Excel Course
Started my excel course today. I think I need a laptop as excel is slightly different on an iPad. Can’t wait to get stuck into it and past the basics.

Thank god I found Shaw Academy. It save my life during this 2020 quarantine for Covid19. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. It maintains me bussy for a couple of hours during the day. The class and the teachers are even better that teachers at my school ????

So far, so good! I've taken my first class, and things were well thought out and concise. The speaker was clear, but it was going a bit fast. Luckily, they do have notes and other things you can purchase to study over.

I am thoroughly enjoying these classes. A lot of great info and learning tools.
It makes it nice that I can go back and look at the recordings again in case I didn't take thorough notes or missed something.
I will add that I wish the tool kit pop-ups were a bit less obtrusive.

this course has a lot of information. I am glad that the link was sent to me. I will continue the classes. The classes start with the basics which is good for a beginner like myself. The ability to review after the live class is complete is good. I can go back and pick up what i missed.
