Oddly, their site and confirmation looked slick — that made me trust them at first. Ordered on 6 Feb and by the 13th still nothing arrived, emails go unanswered and there’s no phone number. Worse, I’m stuck on an auto-subscription I can’t find a way to cancel, so they’re due to take the same £60 again. I can’t say how the product feels because I never received it; based on the listing I expected decent build and soft materials, but no chance to check.
Relief after a palaver
pleasant scent, decent lather, did the job. It’s the service that was rubbish — no replies on the website, no emails, and only after I raised a dispute with my card did they respond. Not disastrous, but definitely clumsy and annoying.
Handy for daily hair care, with a couple of niggles
Was making a cup of tea when I realised I’d run out of my favourite oil — ordered from LTL and it turned up a couple of days later, neatly boxed. I use the stuff every other day for smoothing and a weekly mask, so prompt delivery matters and they’ve been spot on. Prices are sensible and the email deals let me try things without spending loads. Customer care is polite and sorted a misplaced parcel once, though replies aren’t always instant and the tracking info was a bit vague that time. All in all reliable, not perfect, but it does the job.
Finally arrived, but not ideal
Was halfway through composing another angry message when the parcel finally turned up. I’d ordered on 9 February and the original delivery date was 11th, so you can imagine my irritation when nothing arrived and all I got were promo emails. After a couple of calls they admitted there'd been a mix-up and dispatched a replacement, which arrived about a week later. The bits themselves do the job — nothing special, but fine — though the box was dented and communication was sloppy. Price was only a few pounds cheaper than competitors, so value wasn’t outstanding. Not perfect, but relieved it was sorted in the end.
Nearly walked away
I was charged, nothing arrived, and the site only let me pause the sub, not cancel. I emailed and, after a couple of tense days and a call to my bank, the company finally replied, apologised, refunded the mistaken charge and cancelled the ongoing subscription. A delivery turned up after that too. I'm relieved it was resolved and fairly grateful — messy experience but it got fixed, so I wouldn't completely rule them out.
Hair oil that works, seller that doesn’t
the oil itself is lovely — silky feeling, light on the hair, doesn’t sit greasy if you use a small amount, and the scent is subtle rather than cloying. It tames frizz and gives a decent shine without making my fine hair limp, so I was genuinely pleased with how it performs when applied to damp hair before blow-drying.
That said, the purchase journey ruined most of the good will. I placed the order early December and heard nothing for weeks. After sending several messages that were ignored I involved my bank because I began to worry it had gone missing. When the parcel finally arrived late in the month it was in a shocking state — the outer box looked opened from both ends, grubby and clearly handled badly. The items inside were okay functionally, but arriving like that makes you wonder about hygiene and whether anything else has been swapped or tampered with.
I asked for a full refund because I didn’t feel it was right to pay full price for goods that came in such a condition, and I’ve not had a proper response yet. So yes, the product works and I’d use this oil again, but I won’t buy from this seller again until they sort out their fulfilment and customer contact. Annoying to lose faith in a product that otherwise delivered.
