I walked in expecting Ian — then realised he wasn't coming and they didn't tell me. Treatment itself with Nikki felt lovely, really hands-on, my skin actually glowed. Annoying mix-up, poor communication. Would've liked a quick heads-up; otherwise Nikki saved the day, so I'd go back.
A random little win
I was wandering out of the hotel, a bit bored and sceptical about salons, but my mate told me to try this place. It looked clinical and tidy, which made me nervous at first. Ian, the aesthetician, talked me through my skin and basically put my doubts to rest. Proper pleased I went.
Better than I expected
Booked a facial on short notice and they were prompt. Ian asked about my pregnancy and changed products, which caught me off guard in a good way — detailed and careful. The treatment itself was calm, my skin felt properly hydrated afterwards. Clear communication and fair price; I'd go back.
Face went odd afterwards
Booked a facial and the therapist was really lovely, so awkward writing this — but my skin got worse. It's rough, patchy and chapped, proper breakout too, which I've never had even after surgeons' laser. Felt sore the next day, though the shoulder massage was nice, odd mix really.
Quick stop, solid results
Worth a return visit — that's my take. Went twice to see Frank; I was wary the first time because other salons just talk at you, but he explains what's being used and answers daft questions. Calm, factual approach, felt sensible and I’d go again, actually.
Pretty impressed
Honestly, I loved it — Amanda at Face Haus sorts you proper well. A mate tipped me off and I’ve been back a couple of times; place feels cosy and clean, staff explain everything, no rush. I actually noticed my skin improving, so I’m glad I went and would recommend it.
