Bought a faulty phone
I bought a phone from this place, but it turned out to be faulty. I couldn't hear people properly on calls, and the phone kept glitching. I returned it within the allowed period, but I still haven't got my refund! To top it off, my network provider is charging me £700 because Affordable Mobiles didn't cancel the contract! This is messing with my credit rating. I suggest steering clear of this place at all costs.

Mobile still not returned since May 10th
I gave back my phone on the 10th of May and I haven't got a new one or my money back yet. I've complained officially but I haven't had any response from the company. It's really annoying and I feel let down!

The service and prices were great, and they had a really good selection of mobile phones. But, I was a bit let down to discover that the phone I got wasn't a UK model. That will definitely lower its resale value when I decide to upgrade. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking about purchasing from Affordable Mobiles.

Complete waste of time.
Invested time making the application and providing identification documentation requested subsequent to my application.
The due date for delivery of my phone (which already had a significant two week lead in time) came and went. No phone arrived.
I tried to call the customer services number, but it became apparent it was only available for sales.
All customer service communication at through live chat which I got cut off from twice.
I eventually got through and was frustratingly asked to resend my ID documentation (two weeks after first provided!).
I then received an email to say my order had been cancelled. Apparently I had not passed the “security checks”. I feel like this is an excuse as I am a solicitor with a full-time job and a homeowner.
A complete waste of my time and energy. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere!iPhone XR
Bought a refurbished iPhone XR which is advertised as water resistant- up to 30 mins in 1 m of water apparently.
Mine came into contact with a small puddle sized amount of water for 2 seconds and now the phone is dead on the day it arrived.
Told water damage isn’t covered under warranty.
Clearly the refurb wasn’t done correctly meaning the phone offered no water resistance at all. I bought this phone due to water resistance and it was falsely sold.
Reported to trading standards
Stuck with a 2 year contract for a phone I can’t use
