This was my first time buying ceiling tiles and I managed to pick ones with the wrong acoustic rating for our busy community hall — size was fine but not the right spec. I rang Ceiling UK because we had rehearsals starting and I was panicking; they were annoyingly quick in a good way, phoned back, suggested a much better tile and organised a credit for the unopened boxes. What surprised me was how calm and practical the whole conversation felt, kept me updated and it actually made a stressful week easier. Prices were reasonable too, not silly expensive at all. Would use them again.
Delivery let-down, aftercare redeemed it
I remember pulling the first tile out while the driver was already backing away and thinking, this isn’t right. The pallet had been opened, the packaging roughly cut and most pieces were scuffed or torn. I needed these tiles for the small home office I use every day — meetings, calls, the lot — so at first I was properly annoyed, sceptical the whole order would be any good. What changed my mind was the company’s response. After I reported the state of the goods they were honest about using a new courier and didn’t dodge it; they refunded the £60 delivery charge straight away and applied about 10% off the order as a goodwill gesture. That’s when I relaxed a bit, realising they cared enough to sort it rather than shrug it off. I still had to patch a few damaged ones and a couple were barely usable, but most do the job sound-wise now and my calls are noticeably quieter. Not perfect — the delivery itself was poor and the price felt steep — but the aftercare was prompt and fair, and in everyday use the tiles are doing what I bought them for.
Solid but slow
Found myself unpacking it on a wet Tuesday, not ideal but anyway. Ordered a week earlier, courier bungled the depot so it arrived late. The seller phoned straight away and refunded the delivery cost, which was fair. The item itself feels solid and does the job — started using it same day, pleasantly practical.
Bit of a mixed bag
