The coaches at this travel company are really modern and comfortable! I really like how they have local pick-up points, it's so convenient. The drivers are really friendly as well. I've heard that some of the hotels are getting renovated, and they look amazing now. The staff are all really friendly and the food is delicious.
Coach holiday to Porthcawl
My recent coach holiday to the seaside was absolutely lovely, from the moment we set off to the very end. The feeder coach arrived promptly and the staff were helpful with our bags, making getting on the coach a breeze. Our driver was really friendly and thoughtful, making sure we were all well looked after. Our holiday in Porthcawl was fantastic and I could tell the staff had gone the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time.
Comfortable bus, friendly driver, welcoming hotel
The whole trip was just brilliant from beginning to end. The bus was really comfy and looked after well, which made the journey really nice. Our driver, Robert, was so chatty and made us feel relaxed the whole way. The hotel we stayed at was really friendly, and the food they served was tasty, hot, and fresh. Overall, it was a great experience that went above and beyond what we expected. We'll definitely use this company again in the future.
New Beach Hotel, Great Yarmouth & Broads Cruise
My stay at the New Beach Hotel in Great Yarmouth was absolutely amazing. Our journey started on the Delta Coach with our lovely driver Michael, who was really friendly. The hotel rooms were so clean and welcoming, it was all really well-organised and just lovely. I met some really nice people on the coach and we quickly became friends. The hotel staff were all very friendly, the waiters and waitresses were really helpful and the food was delicious. I had a great time at the entertainment and bingo nights. The trips to the Paddle Steamer, Cromer, and Norwich were really enjoyable and added to the whole experience. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday with good weather and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
5-day trip review
I just got back from this fantastic 5-day trip with a travel company. It was amazing! Everything went really well, the transfers went smoothly, and the coach was pretty good. It could have been a bit more comfortable, but the driver was really friendly. The hotel was decent, but the views and location were stunning! I had such a fantastic time that I'm already considering booking another trip with them. This was my first time travelling solo with this company, and I highly recommend it! So cool!
Holiday experience feedback
I really loved my holiday experience, it was so much better than I expected. The days out were great, everything was well-planned and we had lots of fun things to do. The transport from place to place was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel was fantastic – the service was top-notch with staff who really cared, the food selection was varied and delicious, and there were some really fun evening activities to enjoy. I had such a good time that I would definitely do it all over again.
Leisure trip
The holiday was pretty good, all in all. The hotel room and food were fine. Tracy, the coach driver, was really helpful and friendly. But, there were some big problems with the journey. It took a really long time, especially because we had to change coaches and there was a delay because of a broken door on the coach. This made the whole experience a lot less enjoyable. We only got to the destination half an hour before dinner, which wasn't great and definitely made the trip less fun.
Hotel stay with long transfer
I really liked the hotel and the room, but the transfers were quite long and not very convenient.
Edinburgh trip
The drivers were so nice and helpful, they really took care of us on the outings. The trips themselves were so much fun. But I have to say, the Waverly Castle Hotel in Melrose was a bit out of the way and inside it was a bit tricky finding where things like the restaurant and bar were located.
Weekend stay at a hotel
Our weekend stay at the hotel was pretty decent. The room was comfy, although the en-suite bathroom could do with a bit of modernisation - like getting rid of the old bath and putting in a new shower. The food we had, breakfast and dinner, was tasty and well-made. The tours we went on, organised by the hotel, were really nice and taught us a lot about the area. The only downside was the hassle of having to travel south first before going north to get where we wanted to go.
Hotel stay
My hotel stay was alright, the room was decent but it was way too warm. The whole hotel was covered in scaffolding, which was a bit of a letdown.
Amazing coach trip
The coach we rode on was really comfortable and had USB ports for charging our devices. The driver was so good and made the journey really enjoyable. The hotel we stayed at was amazing, especially for those with food allergies. They really went out of their way to make sure everyone was looked after, even getting special cereal for someone with a wheat allergy. The staff were so understanding and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. There was entertainment every evening and the rooms were nice and tidy. The excursions were definitely worth it, and I loved having a day to do my own thing. I'm already thinking about booking my next holiday with them!
Turkey and tinsel
NEW BEACH HOTEL, GREAT YARMOUTH
Went to this hotel in November and had a lovely time. It was a turkey and tinsel break. Hotel was very organized and the staff worked hard to make it special. Would recommend this hotel as one of the better ones in the Alfa dynasty. Thanks
PS. Wish that all Alfa hotels were as goodCoach holiday
TENBY. CLIFF NORTON HOTEL
Just came back from a Christmas and New year break from this Alfa hotel. Sad to say we weren't impressed. We had cold and repetitive meals, even on Christmas Day. There was no atmosphere in the hotel. The only night that was nice was new year's eve, as staff had made an effort for us. The hotel needs to improve the layout of the communal areas and the overall design as it is not suitable. The kitchen had its own problems, hence cold food.
All our meals were repetetive and unappertising. Poor selection of hot drinks and lagers in most Alfa hotels. Same old food, please Alfa make some changes.
We would like to thank all the staff for all their hard work. The hotel was very under staff, but they gave us their very best. Well done to them.
The only member of staff lacking was the manager because he was rarely there.Weston super mare. Anchor head hotel
Just came back from the break at the anchor head hotel in Weston super mare. Our room hadn't been cleaned upon arrival. Also our room had frequent wafts of sewage, so had to keep the window open 24/7. Was told by member of cleaning staff they did have a sewage problem. Complained to Alfa, only to be brushed with an apology. Has made us feel like liars as they excepted staffs version. Very disheartening
Western Lakes
An enjoyable trip to Whitehaven. The Hotel ticked all the boxes, delicious food and very helpful staff. Days away to Ravenglass and Muncaster Castle, then Grasmere and Keswick were
excellent. Andy, our driver, scored 10/10.Isle Wight shanklin hotel
Just returned from Isle of Wight shanklin hotel there was 8 of us we have had a brilliant holiday the hotel staff went out of their way to make everything perfect our driver Dave Alfa hill from start to end went the extra mile making sure we all saw every thing with excellent knolidge of the area also phill bar staff n Luke our waiter are all a credit to your company thanks ALFA for making our holiday the best ever thanks from us all we will be back x
Which hotel did they put you in ? This is not correct about the hotel after what I have just experienced, wouldn't go near it again
Regina hotel Torquay
i have just spent a week at the Regina hotel Torquay,i am very disgusted at the condition of the place, the carpets need cleaning the whole place needs a wash and a lick of paint, the service was very poor, the meals need to be better coordinated, tea was supposed to be at 7.15it was after 8 most evenings and we were asked what we want for sweet and then told later they haven't got it, there was nothing left, there was no where to sit like a lounge after your tea ,when we got bowburn and got on the feeder coach after been sitting for half an hour the driver left but turned round and whent back into bowburn he realized he had to take another half an hour, but completely mucked up our travel plans when got home(taxis)) I'm not booking with Alfa again , shocking ,i certainly will not recommend Alfa to anyone, Alan Fenwick a dissatisfied customer
Great product
Just had a 5 day holiday at New Beach Hotel yarmouth everything was spot on cannot find a fault with anything
Criccieth June 2021
Hi went to Criccieth Wales in June. Hotel under refurbishment which we were unaware of. Lots of workman around, dust, doors left open or propped open making it even colder in the hotel, not very nice at all. No heating some of the other guests sat in their coats for their food as it was so cold. Food awful can’t even cook roast potatoes, a lot of frozen vegetables. On return the driver took a guy on the holiday and dropped him off at the train station. Made us late for the services.could not say goodbye properly to my sister, just enough time for a loo stop and get food.
The good points trips fantastic.
The waitress was also fantastic.
