    Satisfying and decent

    Its good but i m impressed with the caravans system. not just i always loved that but its also simple now to try and book for yourself without paying too much .

    We have returned home after a bad time at burham sandy glade our chalet number 72 was really ... and have put a complaint in at the office the worst was the beds we both suffer from arthritis and could not get any comfort from the bed.my wife spent time buying cleaning materials to clean the kettle was leaking and bowl I changed as other split. We arrived Monday at 4.30 and left at 9.00am Wednesday we are booked and paid in full for another week in March 22 i have been with John fowler for at least 16 years and always been satisfied and came back but now I am thinking twice.i hate complaining but I think a refund is in reason. Thamkyou t walls

    Having stopped at the john fowler St. Ives holiday Park for the 5th time I am sad to say I was disappointed this year. Whilst the accommodation was excellent the other facilities were not up to par. The swimming pool attendant could not have been grumpier if he tried and spent his time on his phone during the swim sessions. The machines in the arcade just ate your money, they were nearly all broken but no out of order signs put on them including the pool table. The cash point machine broken and no cash back facility on sight and washing machine and dryers broken also. The staff were pleasant enough, unfortunately, the answer to anything being broken was sorry but beyond their control. The food in the restaurant not up to par either. It was a real shame as the setting is lovely but sadly that is not enough as the other facilities are reflected in the price paid for the holiday. When paying £1800.00 for a week there you expect the facilities to be second to none.

    Holiday Chalet at St Ives Holiday Park

    We booked and paid for a GOLD standard chalet at John Fowlers St Ives Holiday park. On arrival we were put into what was obviously a lower standard chalet which was also adapted for wheelchair users.
    (Not requested). We saw the site manager who fobbed us off with excuses. We left our weeks holiday early and contacted John Fowler with our complaint. Mainly that we should have been provided with what we had paid for. This company doesnt even have the decency to reply to our enquiry. This is a holiday company to avoid ! I will never book a holiday with them again.

    192 caravan worst holiday EVER!

    We had to wait 30mins on arrival for caravan, when we arrived door was stiff, once inside the place was filthy mould round windows hair and crumbs on sofas, stools had rips in them, bed broke on my mum when she sat on it, the windows were broken, i called reception complained she said she get cleaner to come see us the next day, heard nothing called again she contact cleaner again still heard nothing, maintanance guy came sorted the bed, and put some wood in the window so it close not let draft in. we couldnt get in for bingo or swimming as was full all weekend, same for tribute lady gaga, staff were very rude except the maintanence guy, We had a bad year with my mum and this was supose to be a relaxing get away and it just stressed us out more, on the monday we couldnt wait to get away from there and thats the 1st time in 4 yrs as e been to the site every year last 4 yrs and had a great time, this time it really put us off going back, never got any money back or compensation, never got any calls back from management to apologise was just disgusting service we paid £365 frpm fri -mon was a waist of money. And from what i heard previous holiday makers have too complained about this caravan and still nothings been sorted. sort it out john Fowler

    Perrin View Holiday Park

    Accomadation was very nice as it has just been renovated. The facilities and entertainment on site were terrible. Entertainment was either not on or changed and when it was in it was very poor. Also think that the children’s entertainer they had on was slightly inappropriate as the best he could come up with was to pull a bra out of a child’s shirt when trying to entertain children all under the age of ten
    . Think a lot more should be provided for the money spent during peak season. Have used John Fowler before on a few occasions but don’t think I will be booking with them again or would I recommend to anybody else especially anyone with kids.
