Hebrides Holiday Experience
My holiday in the Hebrides was absolutely fantastic. The Holiday Inn gave us a warm welcome, and our driver, Stuart, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Kimberley, our rep, was also very helpful throughout the trip. Stuart and Kimberley showed us around different sites in the Hebrides, making sure we got the best experience possible. The Callanish Standing Stones were a standout moment, and the hotels we stayed in were amazing, with great hospitality and delicious food. The hotel locations were perfect for exploring on foot. The ferry rides were comfortable and on time, and we even got to see dolphins and porpoises. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday that I would definitely recommend to others.
Single room booking
Hey there, so I gave them a ring to sort out a single room as I'm going on my own for the first time, which is a bit nerve-wracking, you know? The initial person I spoke to mentioned checking with the hotel but never got back to me, leaving me all worried after not hearing back for a whole week! Luckily, I decided to give them another call and got through to a much friendlier person. Fingers crossed I made the correct decision in booking with you guys.
Chilled out holiday
My recent holiday was absolutely fantastic. I had a lovely, relaxing time with everything perfectly organized for me. The staff were efficient and always ready to help, making my stay stress-free and enjoyable. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday experience.
Booking difficulties
I tried to book a holiday on the website but had some technical problems that stopped me from finishing the booking. So, I decided to ring up the customer service for some help. When I explained what happened to the rep, they said they couldn't fix it or get back my initial booking attempt. However, they were really patient and assisted me in making the booking over the phone. Next time, I'll make sure to book through a person instead of online to avoid any issues.
Vacation booking
The lady who was assisting me was incredibly helpful! She answered all of my questions really well and was so nice. I've been on some fantastic holidays with this company before, and now that they have new people in charge, I can't wait to go on even more trips in the future!
Uncomfortable coach seating, rude driver, delayed stop offs
The seats on the coach were really uncomfortable, I couldn't get settled all the way through. The driver, although mostly pleasant, messed up the pick-up point and then got a bit rude and blamed us for it. Thanks to that error, we left very late and got caught in traffic, leading to even more delays and stress. The planned stop on the journey there was delayed, as was the return journey. All in all, it was a total letdown and I definitely won't be doing it again.
Holiday booking.
Heidi, the customer service representative, was really polite and professional. She answered all my questions and was so helpful when I was booking. I thought she was efficient but also really friendly, which made the whole thing a lot nicer.
Booked holiday trip
My dad's gone and booked us a holiday, which is just brilliant! The person on the phone was nice, but a bit slow, you know? They said they could stick us in the 4th row, but I wanted to be nearer the front. They mentioned there was a £15 charge for the front row, and that the 2nd row was for people with mobility issues. They checked with a colleague about getting us in the 2nd row, but they said no. It wasn't until later in the call that they asked if I had any mobility problems. I don't use any walking aids, but my knees and hips can really ache. The person was friendly, and they made sure everything was squared away before finishing the call.
Socialising on coach trips
As someone who's flying solo, I've got to say coach trips are an awesome way to mingle and make new pals. The driver on my recent jaunt, Simon, was just so friendly and made sure everyone was looked after during the ride. What really got me was that Simon even handed out his mobile number to passengers, a nice little touch that really put me at ease. All in all, I had a brilliant time chatting away and feeling secure on this trip.
First coach trip
This was my first time going on a coach trip and I have to say, it was quite an experience. The coach driver wasn't very talkative, but he was nice. The hotel we stayed in wasn't super fancy, but it was good enough for a short trip. The best part for me was the food - it was really good! I just wish the trip was longer so I could have had more free time to check things out on my own.
Great holiday experience
I really enjoyed the holiday in general. The driver was great and the hotel staff were really friendly. The food was delicious and the hotel was nice and clean. However, it would have been even better if they had chosen a ferry with a lift for disabled people or if they had let the main group go ahead to avoid waiting around unnecessarily. I would have also liked to have more time at Osborne House instead of going to Cowes, as it would have made for a better schedule. But all in all, it was still a lovely holiday experience.
North Devon tour review
The Durrant House Hotel in Bideford was alright, the prices for drinks were reasonable, and the food was basic but good with a nice variety to choose from. I really liked the tours that were included, especially the 4 hours spent in Clovelly, it was a real highlight. However, the optional tour to Barnstable Pannier market was a bit of a letdown. The biggest issue was the coach exchange at Dobbies, Tewkesbury. It was a bit chaotic with 4 coaches, and if it rained, there was no cover provided so luggage would get wet.
Too much traveling
I've been going on these trips for ages now, but I'm getting tired of spending most of the time traveling and not enough time actually enjoying the places we go to. It's like on a 3-day trip, 1 day is just spent on the journey there and back, so I only get 1 day to explore the actual destination. It's not fair!
Booking holiday
I booked a holiday with your company recently and I must say, I was really happy with how everything went. It was all so easy and quick, and the person who helped me was really nice, friendly, and super helpful. I was really impressed with the great service I received and just wanted to say a big thank you to them for helping us book our next adventure.
Lack of pickup locations
I was a bit gutted to find out there weren't many pickup spots in Bradford for me as a customer. The person I talked to was really nice and polite, but it was a bummer that there weren't many trips from my area. It's made me think twice about even bothering to check out their brochure again in the future.
Weekend trip to Chelsea Flower Show and Windsor
I wouldn't recommend splashing out on that supposedly "lovely" trip. The quick stop in Windsor wasn't all that great, the hotel was just okay, and honestly, the whole thing left a lot to be desired. The Chelsea Flower Show was packed with people and way too expensive, not living up to all the excitement. I'd say hold onto your cash and find somewhere else to have a more enjoyable day out.
Overpriced holiday package
I felt like the holiday package I bought was a bit too pricey for what we got. The hotel we stayed at looked really old and needed some serious fixing up. I tried telling them about the state of my room, but it didn't seem like they did much to sort it out. The only good things were the comfy bedding, the tasty food, and the nice staff. But even those couldn't make up for how disappointed I was with the hotel overall.
Weekend getaway
Our weekend away was pretty good in general, but the driver really let us down with his unprofessional attitude. The hotel was lovely, but the driver just didn't seem bothered – he even told some passengers he was retired and didn't really want to be there. It was a real shame to hear that he was only driving because they were short-staffed. His lack of enthusiasm definitely put a damper on the whole trip.
Manchester and Liverpool getaway
I recently went on a trip to Manchester and Liverpool, with a stay in Bolton booked through National Holidays. The hotel we stayed at was nice and clean, and the food they served was absolutely delicious with a great variety to choose from. The entertainment they provided was really good, and all the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this trip to others, as I was very happy with my experience overall.
Stratford upon Avon 2 day trip
This is our very first coach trip due to not feeling very safe with our usual abroad holidays and I just want to say what a great 2 days we have had. A beautiful place to visit and a great hotel serving lovely food. Being driven around took out all of the stress and we throughly enjoyed it.
Our coach driver Graham was a credit to your company…. Helpful, friendly, giving out the right information to us regarding our trip and the structure of the day.
Hope all of your drivers are as friendly and helpful as Graham as we will definitely be booking again.
Thank you
