So, I was just trying to book another ticket when out of the blue, I got interrupted and told to leave a review. Got to say, it's pretty annoying to be pressured into giving feedback when I haven't even finished what I was doing. Reviews should be a choice, not a must-do. It's like someone holding me captive just to hear my opinion.
Train tickets purchased for travel from Paddington to Swansea by coach, and return from Cardiff to Paddington in first class.
I bought some train tickets the other day to go from Paddington to Swansea, and then back to Cardiff. I went all out and got first-class tickets for the journey back to Paddington. Buying the tickets was a breeze, but when they arrived, there was no clear indication that they were first-class. It might seem obvious, but I reckon it would help if they made it crystal clear to avoid any mix-ups for people.

It was dead easy booking my train ticket, I could see all the prices and options at a glance. But, why do they charge a booking fee when you're doing it all online?
Difficult booking process
The booking process was really annoying because the mobile interface kept glitching out on me. I tried on both my phone and laptop, but I just kept running into issues where my booking would disappear or the journeys I picked would suddenly disappear. It took me ages to eventually figure out a combination of outbound and inbound journeys that would let me make a booking successfully. It was pretty disappointing because I can't remember ever having these kinds of problems before.

So many trains were cancelled, it was a mess. I ended up getting on a train to Portsmouth, only to discover there was no driver. I had no choice but to get off. In the end, I had to call an Uber to take me the rest of the way home. To make matters worse, I couldn't even use my TRAINLINE ticket for the trip. Just added insult to injury, really.

I bought my train tickets online, but then had to drive 8 miles to pick them up before my journey. When I got to Euston station, I felt like it was necessary for everyone's safety to pass through the ticket barriers. During the train ride, I had a bit of a scary experience when I was bothered by a smelly person who didn't have a ticket - turned out they were an illegal immigrant. Thankfully, some other passengers stepped in to help out, and we all stuck together. I also had a helpful phone call with the train company afterwards.

The options for changing dates were quite limited, especially for making changes on the same day. It was a bit frustrating, but apart from that, everything else went smoothly.

My experience with booking was simple and easy, but I was let down when I couldn't get a refund for my ticket. I tried to cancel straight away before the train came, but there wasn't an option. It was really annoying and not very convenient.

I would avoid using trainline. I recently had an experience where the app didn't work and said my ticket was used so I had to purchase another ticket. When I complained about it to trainline they were very dismissive and after 3 months of chasing they have said they can't work out why that happened and won't be refunding my tickets.

con business, my train was on time, half way through train had problem, train went backwards and we were told to take virgin media train which took me to central London instead of Watford Junction. I had spend extra to get home on London underground. I complaint and ask for refund and no response what so ever. I will never use this crap website who believes to taking money instantly but don't care about responding to issues.
