New customer experience
I'm a new customer and I have to say, my experience using this service was just okay. The price was similar to other booking sites, but I wasn't too happy about being constantly pushed to buy extra stuff. It reminded me of budget airlines like Ryanair, which isn't great. Plus, I was surprised by the need to be on high alert, like not being sure if big airlines might collapse. But, I do appreciate the advice on getting travel insurance.
Overpaid for seats
My recent experience with the company has been really disappointing. I paid nearly £300 for seats, only to find out that the same seats were still available on the airline's website for a lower price. This lack of transparency is not on, and I have concerns that I might not actually get the seats I paid for. What's more, the customer service agent I spoke to online wasn't very helpful and just told me that all communication had to be done via email. This made me even more frustrated, as I needed quick clarification and help. The company says they guarantee seats by reserving them, but that clearly didn't happen in my case.
Quick and easy booking
Booking my ticket was really easy, I had my e-ticket straight away. I didn't have any issues with customer service, changes, or cancellations so I can't comment on that. But all in all, it was a simple and smooth process.
Flights
DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR. Booked through Budgetair 2 return flights to Milan from Newcastle, flying with Ryanair.
Booked on 4 August.
Received Booking confirmation from Budgetair and itinerary from Ryanair
Had to verify my identity via Ryanair website. They could not find my booking. Called Ryanair they said the email address associated with my booking was not the email address I had used to book.
Contacted Budgetair – they insisted it was, and that I contact Ryanair.
Contacted Ryanair again – they told me they could not access my booking with the information I had and to contact Budgetair.
This went on and on in a loop of multiple emails. No-one resolved the issue and I am still unable to verify my identity, so cannot use the flights, without paying a fee at the airport.
Had to book new ones. Attempting to get a refund from Budgetair – they are not assisting and still insisting I contact Ryanair. Which I have told them on multiple occasions that I can’t do.Good
Uses this services for Thailand and Budapest twice last month.
Now coming to the facilities and quality, pretty good, not best really.
Right from reception from home to back, road support was really great
Hotels quality could be more better, rest everything was normal as others.
