Complex multi-country trip booking
Planning a trip that included 3 countries and 8 flights was pretty tricky, especially as I had specific airlines and destinations in mind. At first, I got a bit confused trying to narrow down my searches and figure out all the different options, but I was really happy with how it all turned out in the end. The price was good, and I even managed to squeeze in a new place to visit on my way back home. I'm really pleased and looking forward to the trip!
Flight ticket purchase
I was really let down and annoyed with my experience as a customer of this company. The website displayed the price of the flight ticket in one currency, but when it came to paying, I was unexpectedly charged in a completely different currency without any heads up or permission. This meant I ended up paying way more than I was expecting, and when I tried to get a refund for the price difference and extra charges, they just said no without any explanation.
Flight booking experience
I recently booked a flight through this platform, but all my interactions were with a different company. The flight I booked had a layover, but due to a schedule change, I was left with barely any time for the transfer. Despite providing evidence that online check-in was not possible, I kept getting advised to check-in online anyway, leading to a stressful situation. The lack of assistance and understanding from the customer service team was disappointing, especially considering I had paid for extra protection against cancellations and changes. Overall, dealing with this company has been a nightmare.
Lost booking details
I've just had a proper nightmare with this travel booking website. All my previous trips have gone walkabouts because of some bloomin' error on their part. I had to go through the hassle of signing up all over again like a newbie, but even then, the links to my old trips were as useful as a chocolate teapot. It's really got my back up because I depend on this website for sorting out my travels, and now I'm feeling well and truly let down. I mean, losing customer data and not sorting it out is just not on, is it?
Budget-friendly search but disappointing price drop
The search tool on the platform was really good, giving me lots of fast and cheap flight choices that I could save and keep an eye on for any price drops. However, things took a bad turn for me when I saw the price of my ticket had gone down by £80 straight after I had bought it. This sudden drop in price made me feel annoyed and like I'd been ripped off, especially since travel is already so expensive.
Flight ticket and tracking platform
Kayak is my favourite place to look for flight tickets. It's not just about the good deals, but also the great tracking services it offers. I trust Kayak to keep me updated on any flight delays, gate changes, terminal info, and even baggage belt details. One of the best things is getting SMS alerts with important info, which is really handy when abroad without internet. Thanks a lot, Kayak, for making my travels stress-free and easy!
Bought a flight ticket online
I came across a great offer for a flight on the website, but I was a bit let down when I realised it didn't say anything about bags not being included. I dropped them a message regarding this, and they said I'd hear back within 24 hours, but I never did. To add to that, I got a random call from the US in the middle of the night.
Efficient price comparison tool
The price comparison tool on this website is really good and easy to use. I found it simple to navigate and was impressed that I could compare prices for travel on different days and at different times. The bar graphs helped me visually compare prices easily. Overall, it was a smooth and hassle-free experience for me as a user.
Travel website purchase
Wow, this travel website is absolutely amazing! I was on the hunt for some great deals for my trip and this website had everything I was looking for. It was so much better than the other site I normally go on. I managed to find the perfect flights and saved a ton of money. I'm definitely going to use this website for all my future trips.
Flight booking experience
As someone who travels a lot, I've been noticing that the service on this platform has been getting worse. There are more "Hacker Fares" now which involve self-transfers, making it a lot harder and more time-consuming to book flights. Also, the websites that Kayak sends you to sometimes end up being scams, which is really annoying and makes customers lose trust. It's all been a bit disappointing and I'm starting to doubt whether this platform is as reliable as it used to be.
Scamming payment demands
Don't book with this shady company! I thought I was getting a great deal on my flight booking, but it was a total nightmare. After I paid and got confirmation, they kept calling me saying my payment was high risk and demanding urgent bank transfers to prevent cancelling my flight. Stay away from this company!
Discounted airline fare
I recently got a really good deal on a flight ticket through this website, which was a lucky find. But once I paid, I got an email from another company confirming my booking, which left me feeling a bit puzzled and worried. Then I got a text and a phone call from that company, which made me feel a bit uneasy and suspicious about whether my booking was legit.
Booking Difficulties
I was getting really frustrated trying to complete my booking because the page kept disappearing when I tried to check out. I nearly gave up, especially since the price wasn't even that great compared to other sites. After finally managing to make the payment, I wasn't impressed by the transfer of my details to another site called Chatdeal, which seemed to be linked to the company. The communication was poor, with late night responses and an occasional abrupt attitude. I highly doubt that it's UK based. Luckily, my flight-only booking went through smoothly, and I ended up booking my seat directly with the airline, which turned out to be cheaper than what Chatdeal had quoted me.
Adding hotel to trip
I'm really annoyed with the service I got when I tried to add a hotel to my trip. I did what I was supposed to and emailed the hotel dates to the right email, making sure to include the trip name in both the subject and body of the email. But, the hotel dates weren't added like they said they would be, so I had to do it manually. It was really frustrating and disappointing because I was hoping for a better and more reliable service from this platform.
Rental car booking experience
I was gutted when I booked a Compact SUV on the platform and found out the car wasn't actually available when I got to the rental place. They only had an older, bigger SUV to offer me, which wasn't what I wanted at all. It was a right pain, especially after a tiring flight with kids and the heat at the airport. I wasn't happy with the service from the rental company or my experience with the booking platform.
My booking drama
I was so looking forward to my holiday after booking it, but then the next morning, I received an email saying the price had gone up by £500! I couldn't believe it! I was not happy about that at all. And to make matters worse, they tried to make it up to me by giving a dumb voucher for £10 off my next booking. It just wasn't good enough!
Travel app
The travel app I've been using has honestly been a total lifesaver for me. It's become a must-have whenever I'm planning a trip because it gives me all the flight information, like potential delays, and a nice, easy-to-follow itinerary. I'd definitely suggest this app to anyone who loves to travel!
Multi-city flight search
KAYAK offers loads more multi-city options than other websites, which is a massive plus. But, it would be really helpful if they made it simpler to change the order of the places you're visiting. Adding a drag-and-drop feature for moving whole lines around before you tweak the dates would make things much better for users. It's also annoying when the results don't always show all the flights and times available, meaning customers could miss out on some great opportunities.
Trip planner review
I travel a lot, so I need good planning tools to help me out. When Google got rid of their trip planner, I needed a new option. That's when I found Kayak. Let me tell you, Kayak's trip planner is not just easy, but way more user-friendly than Google's ever was. What really impresses me about Kayak is the text messages it sends to keep me in the loop about my flights and gates. Google never did that, and it's been a real game-changer for me. Honestly, I can't recommend Kayak's trip planner enough for anyone who loves to travel.
Multicity holiday booking
I found this website really easy to use when booking my trip to several cities in the USA. I just put in my dates and destinations, and straight away I got a price that was cheaper than any other travel sites I'd looked at. Being able to pick from a range of airlines and airports made it simple to plan my trip exactly how I wanted. Overall, it was a smooth and hassle-free process.
