Deceptive pricing tactics
I highly recommend steering clear of this company! They reel you in with what seems like affordable flight offers, only to add on huge booking fees just before you're about to pay. Luckily, we realised in time and decided to cancel our booking. After reading other reviews, I am appalled by their dishonest practices.
Scam booking facilitator
I had a really bad experience with this particular company. Despite not directly handling bookings, they're allowing dodgy companies like Dreamworld Travel to operate on their platform. Dreamworld Travel is a scam outfit that's swindled millions from customers. It's outrageous that Cheapflights is still letting them take bookings. A quick Google search for Dreamworld Travel will show you loads of negative reviews and proof of fake 5-star reviews on their site. They're definitely ruining their reputation with these underhand tactics. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of Cheapflights and just go direct with the airlines to avoid getting scammed.
Booking on 24th December, redirected to fraudster travel agency
I just want to warn you about booking through this website because my experience was absolutely dreadful. I booked my ticket on the 24th of December, and instead of getting my ticket, I got redirected to a dodgy travel agency called Airwaay.co.uk. They scammed me, took money without sending any tickets. I never got a confirmation for my booking, and to top it off, a few days later I got a call from Travelcrew asking for more money that wasn't mentioned before. They said they wouldn't confirm my tickets unless I paid extra. I didn't waste any time - I got in touch with the police, my bank, and my lawyer to get to the bottom of this dodgy situation.
Flight booking hassle
I booked a flight with them and paid straight away. But just two days later, I got an email saying there was an issue with my booking. They want to give me a new flight, but it's £300 more expensive! So now I'm waiting for a refund and trying to sort out another flight. Plus, I had transport booked in South Africa for when I arrive, but they say it's non-refundable. This whole thing has been a total nightmare - I definitely wouldn't suggest them to anyone.
Group flight booking issues
Booking flights for a big group online was so stressful. The availability wasn't right, which caused problems with payment and issues with my card. Passenger details kept vanishing, and customer service wasn't much help - they even said there weren't any flights available despite them still showing up. In the end, I had to book through another service because I was just too frustrated.
Disappointment with advertised suppliers
It's really disappointing to see that this platform doesn't check out their suppliers properly, letting dodgy companies take advantage of customers. The fact that they turn a blind eye to scams like bait and switch is worrying and just not right. As a customer, I want transparency and trustworthiness from the platform I use to book flights.
Scam alert
I had a bad experience recently when I got redirected to a different site after buying something on Cheapflights. The price was shown clearly, I paid it, and everything looked good. But then, I got a call from TravelCrew asking for another 10% of the ticket price because they couldn't confirm the tickets. They were giving me all sorts of rubbish reasons about promotions that didn't make any sense at all. It felt like a complete scam, and I'd suggest to everyone to avoid these companies and stick to trusted retailers to avoid getting conned.
Fraudulent flight booking
I would recommend avoiding booking with Cheap Flight.com and their partner Air WAAY. Recently, I made a payment through Cheap Flight only to find out from Air Waay that there were no seats available for my return flight with Emirates Airline. The Air Waay agent, EDWARD JONES, tried to pressure me into upgrading to the Main Cabin and provided incorrect information about seat availability. It was only after reaching out to Emirates directly that I discovered there were plenty of Economy seats available for my booked dates and flight. Edward Jones' behaviour was very rude and manipulative, using unprofessional tactics to push for an upgrade. Cheap Flight should definitely reconsider their partnership with Air Waay to prevent customers from having to go through such disappointing experiences.
Flight booking experience
My experience with this company was really disappointing. Every time I tried to click on a link on their website, I was taken to dodgy companies who kept bombarding me with calls and emails asking for more money because of supposed ticket price changes. It was so frustrating and I felt like I was being scammed. I would advise everyone to be really careful when using this service because their sneaky practices are just not on. I really hope the authorities can step in and stop them from deceiving people.
Scam advertisement on website
It's absolutely shocking that Cheapflights still let dodgy websites like airwaay advertise on their platform. I just wanted to book a flight home, but ended up getting ripped off. It's not fair that this has happened to other people too. Cheapflights need to step up and make sure they only promote trustworthy companies. Customers shouldn't have to deal with being tricked and losing their money.
My awful flight booking
Oh, this website is absolutely awful! I was trying to book my flights and it all seemed okay at first. I paid up and got a confirmation, but then the next day I got an email asking for more money because they said the inbound flight wasn't available. Can you believe it? So, I checked the airline's website myself and the flights were still there at the same price! I even gave them a ring and pretended to check availability, and they said everything was fine. It's a complete scam! I had to go to my bank and complain about those scammers.
Flight booking London to Sydney and Perth to London
The customer service I got from my agent, Alex Smith, was fantastic. He was really patient and made sure I had all the info I needed for my booking. I was grateful for his help with sorting out my flights and quickly giving back the extra money I sent by mistake. Alex made everything simple and stress-free, and I really appreciate his support. I decided to book over the phone with him instead of online, and I'm happy I did as it felt more personal. Thanks a lot, Alex, for your brilliant service.
Ticket from Airwaays
I bought a ticket from Airwaays on here not long ago, and honestly, it was a right let down. I'd heard some bad stuff about Airwaays, like how they've scammed folks before, and I just can't figure out why Cheapflights is still letting them operate on their app and conning people. The fact that Cheapflights isn't keeping a closer eye on things is just not on, and I won't be booking with them in future.
Extra baggage search option
I tried to book a flight with the extra baggage option, but it didn't work properly and I had to pay extra later on. It was really annoying!
Super helpful Zain
Zain was absolutely brilliant and really helped sort out my son's travel arrangements. He was kind and very professional, and we really appreciate everything he did for us. Massive thanks, Zain!!!
Warning about using airline services
As someone who knows a bit about this stuff, I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking about using certain airlines. I did some digging and found some pretty dodgy reviews on sites like Cheapflights' Trustpilot page, showing that some airlines might not be up to scratch when it comes to looking after their customers. It's really important to be careful and do your homework before booking flights, so you don't end up getting ripped off or getting stuck with a rubbish service.
Booking process confusion
The booking process on the website was really confusing and not very clear at all. Once I'd paid, I couldn't find where to press to print out my itinerary. Then, to top it off, the next day, I realised I hadn't even got an email confirmation. Upon checking again, I found out I needed to fill in extra passport info under the "Advanced" section, which should've been asked for before I paid.
Deceptive payment practices
I had a bad experience with this company. They took payment from my debit card but didn't give me the tickets like they said they would. When I got in touch with them, they said the flights I paid for were no longer available and tried to make me pay more. Also, they gave me different information about how much baggage I could take, which made me think they were being dishonest.
Fake cheap flights, bait and switch tactics
I had a really bad experience with this company. I thought I was getting a good deal on flights but turns out they weren't actually confirmed bookings and they wanted me to pay extra for a different flight. The constant phone calls pushing me to finalise the booking were so annoying and unprofessional. It felt like a scam the whole way through.
Cheapest Flights, always
I do my research and then book flights, try to save money on that. I fly very often so like to be bit 'saving'approach regarding the expense.
I know it can be really tiring to see so much money taken by these expensive flights,
CHeap flights help me that, it is one of those solutions I use. Always work, they look for the best, cheapest flights according to comfort as well. I have saved a lot with this.
