it wasn't. The signal in the car area was patchy, pages crawled, Google Maps took ages to pin my location and I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to set a route while parked and sweating. There were tiny moments it worked (enough to check a junction), but mostly it felt like paying for hope. I get that ferries are tricky and I’m not expecting fibre at sea, but for navigation this was disappointing. So my doubts before purchasing didn’t go away — they were confirmed. Bit of a bummer, but at least I have a funny story.
