Unboxing made me hold my breath 16 April 2026

I spotted these guys on a tech forum and, on a tip from a mate, decided to order. The outer parcel was spot on — nicely boxed and no dents, courier did their bit — but the worry started once I opened the case. There was a foam bag shoved in behind the GPU and up against the RAM; I get that it’s meant to protect things in transit, but it was a right fiddle to prise out and felt like it was pressing on delicate bits. I nearly panicked a couple of times, I mean really worried I’d nick the GPU or something while trying to get it free. In the end everything works perfectly, thankfully, but it wasn’t a relaxed unbox. I emailed customer service with a quick question and they got back to me quickly and politely, which helped calm me down. Maybe there’s a different padding option that’s safer? Or maybe it’s not worth the extra cost, I don’t know. Overall good kit and good service, just a small gripe about the internal packing.
