Recently, I needed some help with a problem I couldn't fix myself. Thankfully, I spoke to Alyce who not only quickly solved the issue but was also very efficient, helpful, and polite. Her skills and how she dealt with everything really made a difference, and I am very grateful for her help.
Car parking
I parked in Silverzone from 12 April - 19 April 2024. I picked up the car and immediately there I opened the door a strong sweet smell of perfume, my car was left in gear, the air conditioning was on full warm air, the radio volume was blasting and on the wrong radio station, my sat nat has also dissapeared but only discovered this on drive home. Clearly my car has been used by someone NOT just to move it. This is unecceptable on the drive home I felt sick because even with the windows open I cannot get rid of the smell of this sweet perfume, I am going to have to get the car valeted.
When I leave my car at Silverzone I do not expect any of my settings to be moved or messed with ( except seat distance from pedals). It is now going to cost me yo sort the smell and my sat nav. Why the radio and settings were messed with I don’t know. I should also point out that it is dangerous to leave a car in gear! Luckily I always check.Cancelled Holiday
I had to cancel my holiday for a whole month and it was really stressful. The folks I spoke to were fantastic and helped sort out all my errors. Luckily, I managed to get everything refunded in vouchers for the hotel parking, lounge, and room. Thanks once more, I definitely suggest them 😄 x
Booking convenience and efficiency
I've been using this service for all my travel needs and I've never been let down. Booking is super easy and I like the discounts they send through email. Having all my bookings in one app makes it simple to stay organised. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone wanting to make their travel plans easier.
Efficient and friendly online chat service
I've used the online chat service from this company a few times now, and I must say I'm really impressed. It seems like there are real people behind the chat who are not only friendly but also really know their stuff. Whether it's a basic question or a more tricky problem, they've always been able to help me quickly and effectively. I've booked with them a few times now, and every time I've received excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their services.
Airport car park experience
I've had a good experience using an airport car park company, I've used them many times without any problems and recommended them to friends who also had good experiences. However, recently I had a big issue when my car registration wasn't recognised at the exit, and I was charged an extra £55.00. I've contacted them twice but still no response or investigation after 12 days. The lack of customer service afterwards and not dealing with complaints has left me feeling disappointed and out of pocket. It's a shame to see profits being put before customer satisfaction in these cases.
Car parking booking
I made a car parking booking by mistake and had to get in touch with customer service to cancel and get a refund. The live chat option was super quick and I got everything sorted out in no time. I've used Holiday Extras services before and I've always been impressed with how helpful they are.
Online booking with correct Car Reg No
I just booked some car parking and travel insurance online with this company. Last time I went to Newcastle, the car park staff messed up my car reg number, but this time I double-checked everything. It all went really smoothly and I got out fine. The travel insurance was pretty good value, but I was gutted to see that they don't cover people over 85.
Airport parking, hôtel ...amp... meals
I booked full package airport parking, hotel ... meal in good faith of their moto, free cancellation for a one time trip to visit family in the US.
On booking I realised that it had gone through without children, family room. Cancelled the next day.
I never received booking confirmation or cancellation, money had not left the account. I check it still hadn’t gone so thought it had just cancelled. On checking my credit card balance I could see it had gone out!
I had to download an app to see booking, was then advised you are issued with a voucher to redeem within 14 days. I’d spent a week sorting out trying to understand, no previous notification of it…why would I think free cancellation was not what it said on the tin!
Anyway…refusing to refund me my £356 so having to go through FCA..fingers crossed!Quick and helpful service
I was so impressed by the lovely lady who assisted me with my booking. She explained everything clearly and was really polite and helpful the whole time. It made me feel confident that I was making the right choice. I was also pleasantly surprised by how fast and efficient the service was - I didn't have to wait long at all.
Shuttle Bus Service
It was a pretty good experience overall, but things got a bit chaotic with all the people at the bus drop-off and pick-up spots. If you happened to miss a bus, be prepared to wait a while for the next one. Waiting outside wasn't ideal, but I'd probably use the service again.
Quote enquiry dealt with
The lady who was assisting us, Yvette, was absolutely lovely and really patient. She explained everything so clearly and made sure we were following along. Even though it took a bit of time, it was all very calm and relaxed. Yvette is just fantastic and definitely deserves all the praise!
Valet parking purchase
I recently bought valet parking services and it was a really bad experience. The instructions on where to go were not clear at all and were hidden in a complicated link in an email, which made it really inconvenient. On top of that, the customer service I got was terrible - it took ages to get a reply, and even then, they didn’t want to fix the problem. I definitely won’t be using this service again and I suggest going for official airport parking instead for a better time.
Awesome Lena help
Lena was absolutely brilliant! She really helped me figure out what kind of cover would be best for my family and made sure I was supported the whole way through. The customer service was top-notch throughout the entire process!
Travel insurance purchase
I recently had a chat with a really good person named Ella. She knew her stuff and was super helpful in sorting out my travel insurance. She quickly got what I needed and sorted everything out with a smile. Ella went through all the options and found a perfect policy for me without wasting time looking at other choices. In just a short while, she made sure I felt at ease and reassured that everything was sorted. I'm really impressed by her knowledge and top-notch customer service.
Booking issues
I was just trying to book something earlier and the system was being so weird - didn't even recognise my flight number! I was getting all flustered, thinking my booking didn't go through. But then, this lovely person named Lyndsey managed to sort it out in no time and even sent me a confirmation email. Thank goodness for that - crisis averted!
Competitive pricing, excellent customer service
I couldn't fault the customer service I got from James. He really listened to what I had to say, showed that he cared, and was so professional throughout. The price he gave me was really good too, which made me decide to go ahead with it. All in all, I was really impressed with the service I got.
Parking - Gatwick
Dreadful company. This company's website allowed me to book an airport parking space for a vehicle they can't actually accommodate. I turned up on the morning of my flight only to find I did not have a booking! I luckily managed to avoid missing my flight but ended up paying three times more. Contacted the CEO but they were unwilling to take any responsibility. They have absolutely no remorse for the situation they are putting their customers in. I was lucky to still catch my flights but I suspect many others weren't so fortunate. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Car parking.No problem
Lounge.Not Holidayextra problem but lounge not great.From last use of lounge in December was disappointed.Last use plenty of food on offer, continental breakfast,porridge,pastries,full English,toast.This time croissant, pre cut bread rolls,sausage bacon etc,less choice no reduction in cost

Really disappointed with Holiday Extras. We booked car park for 2 weeks at Leeds. Due to Covid our trip was canx and we were issued a voucher for 60 pounds. Or so I thought. I have rebooked holiday for Manchester next year and apparently despite paying extra for 'late protection cover' I booked a none transferable booking, (unknowingly) which I am not able to use on anything at all from Manchester. I've tried to book car parking, hotel and car parking, lounge... Anything tbh to use MY MONEY. I've called and asked them if they can make a note to say its none transferable..... NO! Therefore I've got a total useless 60 pound voucher I'm unable to use ON ANYTHING from Manchester. Might aswell have ripped up x3 20 pound notes. Thanks a bunch Holidays Extras.
