What is the ONYX Group?
The ONYX group is a hospitality company, which was founded by parent company Italthai in Thailand in 1965 under the name Siam Lodge Hotel Group. The company later became Amari Hotels and Resorts Company Limited in 1992. Shortly after, the company announced the launch of a new identity of the Amari brand. The new identity included a new logo and a new phrase “Colours & Rhythms” and is now known as the ONYX Hospitality Group and is still owned by the Itallthai Group.

The ONYX Hospitality Group has created what is known as the ONYX development solution. With their effective and efficient approach, the group has perfected a combination of world-class standards and the warmth of Asian hospitality. The ONYX group is considered to be one of the leading hotel management companies in the Asia Pacific, with locations in Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, Laos, Bangladesh, Laos, Qatar, Maldives, and Malaysia.
