    Odd payment runaround

    I booked a hotel months ahead and trying to pay felt like a battle. The site suggested card deposits but my MasterCard and Visa failed, one showed pending. They said they don’t take US cards, so I wired the full amount plus bank fees that day. There was no confirmation and they were unreachable — only automated 'please pay' messages arrived. After a week of chasing my bank I finally got confirmation. It's usable but clunky; keep proof of payment and be prepared to chase.

    Bit of a faff but I managed

    I actually hesitated for ages before using that booking site — seemed dodgy — but needed the Atlantis for a last-minute trip. The booking failed, then my card was pre-authorised for £900, which sucked because I had to scramble to pay on another site. Customer service were pretty unhelpful and said refund could take days; I'm still waiting. Bit annoyed, but in the end I got the room elsewhere and fingers crossed they sort the money soon.

    The customer service at this place is fantastic. Siri was quick to respond to all my questions and really helped me out with making a booking. I was really impressed with how well they looked after me, it made the whole process really easy. After having such a good experience with Siri, I would definitely suggest this service to anyone who wants a simple booking experience that gives you good value for your money.

    Hotel booking in Cancun

    My experience with the company was really disappointing. I had booked a hotel in Cancun for January 2018 and had a lot of problems with paying. I tried to pay the deposit with both my Master Card and Visa, but ended up with a pending payment and no confirmation from them. They told me to do a wire transfer for the full amount, which I did, but they still didn't say they got my payment. I tried to call and email them many times, but they never got back to me. Instead, I kept getting automatic emails asking for payment for the booking. This left me feeling frustrated and like they weren't being professional at all.
