10 today — I couldn't find a reason 'moving country' in the form, which was odd, and I wish they'd let you note that. Customer support answered, reasonably quick, but didn't solve the form issue, so a bit frustrating. Delivery of the service itself was solid, interface clear. Would recommend the Pro if you want something straightforward, but check cancellation rules first. Glad it helped me get things in order, honestly.
Saved my sanity, honestly
tapping to label stuff, splitting bills, the little colours and categories make it calm rather than scary, which surprised me. Took the plunge on the paid plan and it paid for itself within weeks. Occasionally I still fiddle with categories, but that’s part of the fun.
Hidden fee, nice interface
useful features, helpful reminders, but that billing surprise spoils it. I needed something after a couple of unexpected debits during the move, so I downloaded it for peace of mind — now I'm wary. I’ve messaged customer service and raised it with my bank, still waiting. Could be good if they were upfront.
Lovely mattress, rubbish aftercare
brilliant mattress, awful aftercare. I first saw this mattress at a pop-up in Singapore and, persuaded by a mate, I bought it. It really is the comfiest thing I've slept on — like sleeping in a cloud, honestly — but it's pricey. Fast forward: we've moved back to the UK and the size doesn't match our UK bed frame. I rang customer service hoping for an exchange or even a gesture. No dice. The call centre said Emma Asia and Emma UK are different, different sizes, different rules apparently. They suggested I call Emma SG and left it at that. I felt pretty let down. For the product itself I still sing its praises, but the lack of support means I'll probably look elsewhere next time. It's a shame, because the mattress itself genuinely improved our sleep. Small things matter in customer service.
Nearly gave up, but glad I stuck with it
clean layout, quick to enter info, and the little graphs make you feel like you’re actually in control. It made me check direct debits, tidy up a couple of things and, slowly, I can see my score nudging up. Still wary because of the billing hiccup, but overall it’s useful and I’m relieved I didn’t just delete it straight away.
Costly shortcut, sadly
I lost money because they forced a quick sell. I say that up front. They switched the share-dealing provider and gave one month’s notice to move out holdings. No option to transfer in specie. So I had to sell stuff at the worst time and lock in losses — a few hundred pounds gone, simple as that. The app itself is fine for checking balances and it's tidy to have everything in one place, but that doesn't fix the actual trading decision they imposed. Share investing is usually long term; one month is nothing. I’m annoyed and disappointed, honestly. My advice: use the app for viewing only, don’t rely on them for active dealing until they change how transfers work or give sensible notice. I wish they’d offer in-specie moves or at least more time. If you’re happy just to glance at accounts, go ahead, but if you hold shares long term, be careful.
