EGR VALVE - Faulty
Bought October 2019
Applied for my customer right to product guarantee September 2020.
Application: scanned, printed, filled up, rescanned, sent
Photos of EGR IN ENGINE & OUT OF ENGINE provided. 50 PICTURES OF THE FAULTY PART SHOT FROM EVERY OTHER ANGLE FEATURING SERIAL NUMBERS AND ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING
Everything was sent 4 times or more in the past few weeks, and every time you email me back like,
"oh now we need you to print, fill up the application form, scan it and send back to us"
So I go in town, I have it printed, I go back home, I fill it all up, I go back in town, I have it scanned, I send it back to you
"oh now we need this"
So I send you this.
"oh now we need that"
So I send you that.
"oh now we need PDF copies of the exact same thing"
So I GO BACK IN TOWN TO THE SHOP, SO I CAN GET THE PDF things of the exact same thing, then I send you PDF copies of the same thing.
"oh now we need more photos of the EGR valve featuring the brand and number"
So I send you 50 photos.
"oh now we need stamps on the invoices"
So I go back to the garage and ask them to REPRINT INVOICES.
"oh now we need signatures otherwise it's not valid"
So I go back to the garage and ask them to SIGN THE REPRINTS.
"oh now we need you to"
More scans, more paper, more going back in forth in town for scans, rescans and rerescans and signedstampedrubberednumbereddatedphtographedregis teredrerererererere-rescanned.
START BACK FROM SQUARE ONE, REFILL THE EXACT SAME APPLICATION AGAIN, EXCEPT ALL ONLINE BECAUSE YOU COULD NOT SEND ME THAT IN THE VERY FIRST PLACE, INSTEAD OF SENDING ME RUNNING IN CIRCLES IN TOWN.
"oh now we're only refunding half of the fitting process"After you send me an email that says I have to provide all the paperwork to apply for a full refund.
I have run out of patience, you're costing me extra time, you're costing me extra money. I have now provided you EVERYTHING AND THEN SOME.
It is now to a point of offsetting the saving I tried to make in the first place, making me realise that I should have ordered from a UK shop instead, and save me all that germanic nonsensical, dodgy, bullying, run in circles hassle.
If you don't apply my rights, I will go to my bank instead, and show them every last correspondence I had with you, so to establish my good faith as a customer, and to demonstrate your "oh, by the way we need more stuff on top of the stuff on top of the stuff on top of the PDF copies of the stuff" tactics.
The procedure is simple, it's called a chargeback claim. I show them you are being uncooperative and instead obstructive, and they'll claw the money back from you. No more ifs, no more buts, no more "oh by the way".
Obvious mention at this point, I'm not buying anything else from your online con shop ever. Bit of a shame, I have 3 cars and would also order for family and friends. Quite the loss for you, I'm gone as I don't deal with crooks.
To other potential customers:
It's a German website WITH ZERO STOCK, they ship the parts when they have the parts.
Deliveries are one week wait minimum.
They also tried some bait and switch on me, with some sub par STARK branded part when I tried to purchase the EGR VALVE of my choice, which I refused, costing me more time and inconvenience.

They still have not processed my refund. Instead they went on to ask me even more paperwork.
Now they claim I'm not a genuine customer?

Now try and shut down my review again. I have sent a photo copy of the invoice to Trustpilot so to prove I am a genuine customer with genuine terrible customer experience.
Since I'm getting really fed up with your multiple obstructions, I have given all this to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.
72 documents sent in total over the past 6 weeks, where's my money.

They just sent me an email, still dodging refund. Trading standards and citizens advice are aware.
I am fed up, now contacting the ombudsman.
