That lack of clarity mattered. I lost earnings while the vehicle sat idle. For me the time lost outweighed the cash saved.
The part itself turned up in one piece and fitted fine. So in terms of product quality, no complaints. The real issue is transparency. If you’re buying for stock or non-urgent work then saving money could be worth a slower turnaround. If you run a workshop or rely on a vehicle being back on the road quickly, then the hidden shipping origin and extended delivery are a real problem. It would have been simple for the site to show expected delivery time and origin at checkout. That would have changed my choice in a heartbeat.
I tried to sort it via their chat. Once I explained I was upset about the lack of disclosure, the conversation was cut off by the agent. That felt poor. It’s not just the delay; it’s also how issues are handled. On balance: decent price, acceptable item condition, but poor communication and patchy customer service. I’m left deciding whether to pay more locally to get back to work or to wait and risk further lost income. If you don’t need parts urgently, this store can save you money. If you do need them fast, look elsewhere — the small saving might cost you more in the end.
