I was really looking forward to booking a car through this website, but when I got to the checkout, they ended up charging me nearly double the price they originally showed! It felt like such a rip off, I was left feeling completely scammed and let down. Seriously, who even does that? It's just not cool at all.
Simple and easy
I've just sorted out my car rental and it was dead easy. The prices were much better than the other places I checked out, and I didn't come across any surprises or extra charges. It all went really smoothly.
Booking process ease
I found it really easy to book, everything went smoothly. One thing I did notice was that they didn't give the address until after booking, maybe they could add that in for future customers to make it even easier.
Easy booking process
I found booking a car really easy with this company. Their website was simple and didn't have too many extra steps. I liked how straightforward it was to reserve my rental car. The prices were pretty good too, which was a nice surprise. The only thing I'm worried about now is if I'll actually get the exact car I booked.
Car rental booking with delays
I rented a mid-sized SUV through a third-party website, but when I got to the pickup location, there wasn't any SUV available which caused a delay of nearly 2 hours. I even paid extra for early pickup but the vehicle wasn't ready as they had promised. After a month of investigating, the response I got from the third-party website was really disappointing. They didn't want to give me a refund and used proof of payment and the signed rental agreement as their reasons. The evidence they showed me clearly proved the delay in getting the vehicle, but they chose to ignore it. This whole experience has left me with a bad impression and I won't be using their services again.
Lack of transparency in fees and costs
This company isn't very clear about their fees and costs. I couldn't find a detailed breakdown of the expenses, so I couldn't claim them back. The fact that their pricing isn't transparent really puts me off, and I probably won't use them again. The customer service was disappointing too – they just told me to look online for help, which wasn't very useful. I also had trouble figuring out if my e-credit was going to be used, which just added to my frustration with the whole thing.
No car rental 🚘
Just got to Dallas and my mate forgot his credit card. Tried to use his debit card but they refused it. We called customer service and a nice lady told us to send an email for a refund. We sent one but got no reply 😬. Called again and a rude bloke said no refund, even if we made a new booking. It's a total rip off 😡. Would recommend avoiding them!
First-time car rental
As a first-time customer at Economy Bookings, I would say everything has been pretty smooth up to now. I'll give my final verdict after the whole car rental thing is done. Booking was a piece of cake, customer service was really helpful with all my questions, and the price was reasonable compared to other rental companies. I can't wait to get the car and hit the road.
Car rental booking
I thought the booking process was really informative and easy to use. One thing I'd recommend for Canadian customers is to make it clear that charges are in US dollars and will be converted to the estimated price shown. This way, customers won't be caught off guard during the booking process. But, on the whole, I was happy with the service and the car rental options.

The company did not provide a rental car as per the promise made while charging half the amount.
Their terms and conditions were misleading and did not clearly mention that despite purchasing the full coverage of insurance, the exorbitant security amount had to be paid.
So customer get into a situation: -
1. if he pays security - in case of any scratch even the charges will be deducted from 1500 pound security deposit and the agency giving the car has nothing to do with the insurance coverage. 2. If the customer does not pay - then the half amount deposited will be forfeit and will not be refunded. Nowhere during booking, the blocking of 1500 pounds of amount gets reflected... accept the misleading terms and condition which are so well drafted to cheat the customer that he gets trapped in the loop.
