Don't buy this — that's my short take. I fitted this loo a couple of weeks ago and after twelve years doing plumbing and loads of loos, I was surprised how poorly made it felt. At first it looked fine, box and all, but the waste outlet is oddly shaped and kept weeping no matter what seal I tried. I tried three different fittings and even silicone before I phoned them. They asked for photos and videos (fair enough) but then basically told me to disconnect it, slap silicone on and hold it while it dried — helpful, not. In the end I managed to stop the worst of the leak with a bodge, so it works, but it’s not confidence‑inspiring and the support was weak.
Bit of a faff but glad it worked out in the end
I needed two cisterns for a loo refit — timing was tight because we were mid-renovation and my back was already killing me from lifting tiles. Ordered them on eBay, expected delivery by the end of the month, but then a rep rang saying because I’d bought two they’d need a “specialist courier” and it would be 207 working days. I mean, come on. I argued (I work in e‑commerce, so I knew the score) and they eventually cancelled. Annoying, and the refund took a few extra days which was stressful. In the end I bought the same parts elsewhere and those arrived quickly — solid feel, decent weight, the flush mechanism wasn’t flimsy at all, fitted like a glove. So the product itself was fine, I’m relieved, but the original seller’s handling was terrible. If you’re in a rush, avoid the hassle and buy from someone reliable.
Little things that turned into a proper faff
I needed a new basin for a small downstairs loo after moving — I’ve got a dodgy back so wanted something simple and easy to use without too much fiddling. First delivery arrived and, on the surface, it looked fine. Installer fitted it and within a few days a hairline crack appeared and it started to leak. I sent photos and short videos straight away, then they asked for more, then more again. Figured it was just bad luck and paid for a replacement, only for that one to start leaking too. At that point I ordered from another supplier and, annoyingly, had no issues at all.
