simple, practical, didn’t feel like a brick. Then life happened. After about six months the lug that holds the strap snapped off the case. Bit annoying. I rang support and they were polite, said they’d send return details and then… silence. Meanwhile I’d already bought the newer model because the listing said it would do blood pressure monitoring. That feature wasn’t ready yet, so that was a wasted punt. The new one then slowly went dim, stopped charging and finally the screen went black. I’d sent videos, screenshots and order numbers (several times), and they did reply, but ultimately blamed a cracked lens — which is maddening because there isn’t a scratch. So yes, mixed bag. I’m grateful for the comfy fit and the way it handled day-to-day stuff when it worked, and that support were courteous, but I’m left disappointed by the warranty follow-up and flaky software promises. If you want a cheap, comfy smartwatch for basic use, it’s fine; if you expect solid aftercare, be cautious.
Really impressed, but a couple of niggles
lovely weight, solid metal case and the screen is bright and crisp, you can actually see it outdoors which is a relief. It feels sturdy rather than dainty, and the straps sit comfy on my wrist even after a day at work. Battery life surprised me — with fairly heavy use I’m getting around three days between charges, which makes life easier. The onboard apps are straightforward and not a faff to use, and there are loads of free faces in the app to mess about with (I wasted an afternoon switching them). I did have a bit of scepticism at first — worried about notifications and stuff — and, to be fair, there are annoyances. No contactless payments (it’s stated but still a bummer), and for a while the watch wouldn’t alert properly for messages — sound or buzz — even though my phone did. The Kospet helpdesk were actually very helpful though, patient and prompt via email, suggesting fixes (some worked, some didn’t). One odd thing: when the clocks went forward it didn’t update to BST until I opened the Apexmove app, which caught me out on a morning alarm. Small pain but manageable. Overall I’m pleased: looks great, good value, cosy to wear and dependable day-to-day — just be ready to tinker a bit with settings and updates.
