I was really happy to find that Coverwise's insurance policies were actually quite affordable. I had a look at a few different companies and compared quotes, but Coverwise had the best price. So, I've ended up getting a few different policies with them for things like travel and home insurance. It was all pretty easy to sort out, without any hassle, which has made it really convenient for me to make sure that me and my stuff are protected.
Insurance purchase gone wrong
I've never had such a bad experience with an insurance company before. It was such a hassle going back and forth with emails, only to end up being sent to their recommended hospital for a scan that turned out to be a waste of time. I waited all day for them to send proof of payment, and I ended up feeling frustrated and let down. On top of that, I had to buy my own crutches and now they want me to pay my excess for a doctor's appointment to get a fit to fly certificate so I can come back to the UK for NHS services and avoid medical fees. The service was absolutely terrible, I'd advise you to avoid this company.
