I bought a patio heater from Appliances Direct and it was a third of the price compared to other retailers. It was really good quality too. The heater arrived right on time and I was so impressed with how good it was for the price. I'm really happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be going back to Appliances Direct for any future appliances.
Superb stainless steel appliance
The item I bought from Appliances Direct is really lovely and a great deal. It's just as good, if not better than the big green one on the market. The stainless steel finish is top-notch and really adds a sleek and modern touch to my kitchen. But, I've had to knock off a star because the delivery was a bit of a nightmare. The driver turned up without the right gear to handle a 160kg box, which ended up with the pallet breaking and the box getting damaged. I thought about rejecting the delivery because of the state of the package, but the driver couldn't lift it back onto the van. It took three of us to get it into my kitchen, which was quite a mission. Despite this hiccup, the product itself is worth every penny and I'm really pleased with my purchase.
Oven purchase
The website said delivery was free, but I ended up getting charged £14.99 for it which was a bit disappointing. Plus, they were supposed to give me a heads-up call before the delivery, but that never happened.
Large fridge freezer
I was really happy with how everything went when I ordered from this company. The website was simple to use and ordering was easy peasy. I got an email confirming my order straight away, which made me feel good. The only little thing that bugged me was that they didn't keep me updated before the delivery. They did tell me the time slot, which was useful, but it would have been nice to get a heads-up call before the delivery team turned up at my door.
Char-Broil 4 burner barbecue
I bought a Char-Broil 4 burner barbecue from this company, and I have to say, I am really impressed. I ordered it on a Saturday, and it arrived on Monday, which was quick as I live on the south coast. The delivery drivers were really polite and made sure to place the barbecue exactly where I wanted it, even though it was heavy. Ordering online was easy and straightforward, and the whole experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for good value and high-quality products.

I recently bought something from Appliances Direct and while the product was good value, the delivery was a big let down. I was expecting it on a Monday but it didn't turn up as promised. I got in touch with Appliances Direct and they said to wait until 9PM. The next day, Tuesday, it was still a no-show so I called them up again. They said it needed to be re-ordered and would come on Wednesday. It eventually arrived at 7PM on Wednesday, but I kept getting emails saying it was coming on Thursday. I pointed out this confusion to Appliances Direct and they dismissed it as a system issue. This whole situation wasted three days and caused unnecessary stress.
BBQ purchased
I ordered a BBQ, and less than 12 hours later it arrived. There was a small issue, but it was quickly fixed, and the BBQ and accessories are really top-notch. The service was excellent and unbeatable!
Portable air conditioner purchase
I bought a portable air conditioner from Appliances Direct recently and I was really impressed with how quickly they delivered it. Normally, you expect online orders to take a while to arrive, but Appliances Direct went above and beyond. I placed my order after 9pm and within an hour, they sent me an email saying it had been shipped, even though it was after 10pm. The next day, my portable air conditioner arrived. Appliances Direct really take their delivery times seriously. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.
Induction hob purchase
I've just bought an induction hob from Appliances Direct and honestly, it was such a smooth shopping experience. The website gave me all the info I needed to pick the perfect one for me. Ordering was a doddle, and it arrived super quickly without any hiccups. Top-notch service all round from Appliances Direct, they really went above and beyond.
Well-described item, next day delivery request
I bought something online and it was just like it said on the website. The ordering process was easy and quick. I ordered on a Saturday and asked for delivery the next day, except for Sunday. It arrived on Monday, in the time slot they gave me. I was really impressed with how well the product was described.

I'm really pleased with my recent purchase from this place. Ordering was super easy and the communication was excellent. I was kept in the loop from start to finish and knew exactly what was happening with my order. The delivery team was the cherry on top - they were lovely, polite, and very professional.
Freezer replacement purchase
I recently got a new freezer because my old one stopped working. We found a good deal on a website, so we placed an order late on a Saturday. We were concerned about delivery because Sundays can be tricky, but we got notified on Sunday that it would be arriving on Monday. The delivery guy even phoned ahead before bringing it over, placed it in our garage, and was extremely friendly. The whole experience was smooth and fast. I'd definitely purchase from them again and recommend them to my friends.

I have been battling with this company since August 2022 and their faulty goods, awful customer service and general attitude absolutely stink. They do not care how they treat you. I have been told "we don't have to offer you any compensation" when I was lucky enough to get £10 for my troubles. The delivery date you choose is never honoured. The helpline is charged at 13p per minute. The respond to emails eventually. Their case managers are rude. Don't do it... go somewhere else. Even if they are cheaper, you will pay in time and costs trying to sort out their mistakes.
