comfy against the skin, the vibration patterns are noticeable and not annoying (some gadgets buzz too harshly), and it’s easy to aim at the knotty bits that make you wince. Anyway, when the parcel arrived two small things happened: one, the free attachment they normally include was missing (bit annoying since you need it for a certain mode to work right), and two, the unit itself started fine but then conked out after about five minutes. I tried the obvious — charged it fully (the little light said it was ready), left it on the cable for longer just in case, but still it only ran for about five minutes. The unit is sealed so you can’t get into the battery, and at first I assumed I’d be faffing about with returns. When the short-run problem showed up again they offered a replacement without asking for the broken item back, and when I asked for a refund instead (not even their usual policy, I gather), they agreed straightaway. So not perfect — the product had a manufacturing hiccup — but the way they handled it more than made up for that.
