Tried them again last week after not using CP4L for ages because their range shrank and prices weren't great. First impression this time was pretty good — customer service answered quickly and the delivery turned up sooner than expected. Still wish the product choice was bigger, but it's improving, maybe.
Mostly reliable but patchy delivery
Mostly a good shop, and I use them for my daily commuter and the weekend classic. Parts are decent quality and prices sensible. I order online and sometimes collect from the local branch. Staff generally know their stuff. Delivery has been slow a few times in the past, though.
Pretty decent find

Cuppa and a driveshaft
So, story — fitted the driveshaft between school runs and a Saturday cuppa. Parts arrived quick, exactly what I ordered. It feels properly solid when driving, no wobble, fingers crossed it'll last years (ten-year verdict pending). Never had to return anything, so can't say on refunds.

Good kit, took its time
Bought a car-cleaning kit and only started using it last Saturday after it finally turned up. First thing I noticed was the smell, not harsh, quite fresh, and the foam felt light on the paint. Cloths are soft and the spray spreads easy. One bottle had leaked slightly and one small brush was missing, which was annoying, but overall it cleans well and looks neat. Morning rain, muddy patio — perfect test. I picked up a pressure washer in the sale and it's great on decking and bikes, solid, easy. I swapped models (my fault); they collected the first one free. Ordered the one I wanted the same day and it arrived 48 hours later. Happy.
Good value, a bit messy
I'm fairly happy overall, but it wasn't perfect. I ordered brake parts last week and at first glance prices and availability looked great. Then they sent the wrong pads — easy to swap, no fuss at the counter, but that meant a pointless 90‑minute round trip. The website never made it clear there were three options for my registration, which annoyed others too. Staff fixed it, so I'm reasonably satisfied, if a bit wary.
Fine bits, just be patient
decent value overall, but don’t expect it quickly. I ordered car-cleaning stuff on 1 Jan and by 14 Jan I still hadn’t got everything — one item was cancelled because apparently it was out of stock even though it was listed. I chased them twice and got told they’ve chased the warehouse, which felt a bit lax. I get COVID delays, sure, but if I hadn’t chased would anything have happened? A couple of bits that did turn up look fine and the price was reasonable, so I’m happy with the kit itself. My tip: order well ahead or choose a different supplier if you need it urgently. I’d use them again, but only with patience.
Brake pads and oil filter
I recently placed an order for some brake pads and an oil filter and I was really pleased with the prices, they were much cheaper than what I've seen elsewhere. Even though I ordered on a Sunday which happened to be a Bank Holiday, the items arrived the next day. The delivery driver was really nice and knew what they were doing, so it was a great experience all around.

I recently bought some brake pads and discs from this company, and I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the products. I ended up calling the local branch for help, but the customer service was a bit rude and not very helpful, which was a shame.
