So, I was checking out modern washing machines and I found a couple at this place that were the right size. But the exact ones I wanted mysteriously disappeared, so I ended up with a Haier. The email and text communication during the transaction were quick, which was good. On the morning of delivery, I got a text with an estimated arrival time and a tracker to follow their progress, making it easier to plan my day. The delivery was quick, and they even gave me a useful tip. Now, I'm wondering if this new brand, Haier, will meet my expectations.
Laptop purchase
The guy I spoke to was really helpful when I bought my laptop, he knew his stuff and made sure I got what I wanted without pushing me to buy anything extra. He even managed to get me a discount, which was great. The only problem I had was understanding the barcode payment options, they were a bit confusing.
40-inch TV purchase
I was looking for a new TV and ended up finding the perfect one! The customer service rep was really helpful in explaining all the features and benefits of the 40-inch TV I liked. I felt like I was making an informed decision, which you don't always get in stores nowadays. When I set up my new TV at home, it felt so good. The picture quality is fantastic, and I'm really happy with my purchase. It's like my living room has turned into a mini cinema!
Replacement printer order
Ordering a new printer was so easy - paid without any hassle and was able to pick it up locally. The printer itself was even better than I thought, and I'm really happy I went for the free one-year replacement plan. Big thanks to Wright for their great customer service and easy-to-use website, definitely deserves a 10 out of 10 rating.
Amazon Alexa
So I went to this big tech shop looking for Amazon Alexa, you know? But when I got there, hardly any staff were in sight. Just three guys hanging out by the door, not even trying to help. I showed them a picture of what I was after, and they were like, "Sorry, all sold out." Then this other employee suddenly appears out of nowhere, with a bigger version of what we wanted, but it was double the price! I felt so conned, mate. Being an older person, I reckon he saw me coming and took advantage. I'm proper cheesed off, to be honest.
Oven purchase
I popped down to buy an oven and a lovely lady called Loraine assisted me. She was really knowledgeable about the cooker I was interested in and explained all about the switches. Loraine was super friendly and patiently answered all my queries. Definitely a step up from the usual service at that store.
Laptop purchase
The guy I spoke to at the shop was really good at his job, he totally got what I was after and sorted me out with a great deal. He was dead helpful, knew his stuff, and was dead cheerful. The bloke who came to set up my new laptop did it there and then and made sure I understood everything. Plus, I got a cracking deal on a bundle and some extra care thrown in. All in all, it was a really positive experience, the service was spot on.
Free next day delivery
Absolutely, I got my thing delivered for free the next day, which was brilliant. The cost wasn't anything to shout about, but I chose to buy from a trustworthy seller just in case there were any issues. Sadly, when my item arrived, the box it came in was torn, which was a bit of a letdown. I let them know about it and they said they would inform the delivery service. Apart from that, I was mostly pleased with how everything turned out.
Care plan for a product
I popped into the store the other day to buy a care plan for a product, and I was so chuffed with the service I got. The staff member who helped me out really knew their stuff and took the time to explain everything about the care plan, even mentioning the return policy. I was really impressed by how nice and helpful 'Cool hand Luke' was during our chat. In general, it was a top shopping trip and I'd definitely suggest it to anyone else.
Bluetooth speaker purchase
As I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker in the shop, a salesman came up to me and gave me some really good advice that helped me choose a great speaker. He actually used to work in finance but knew loads about speakers. Thanks to him, I decided to buy a Bose speaker and I've been really happy with it ever since.
Vacuum purchase
I bought a vacuum at this shop not long ago and I have to admit, I was really impressed. As soon as I walked in, I saw the exact vacuum I wanted. The staff member was really helpful and showed me a brand new one to check out. They even told me about the extra bits and bobs that could go with it, and then they went the extra mile by helping me take it out to my car. Now that's what I call good service!
Laptop purchase
I bought a laptop not long ago and the service from the staff member at the store was absolutely brilliant. They were really helpful, friendly, and made a real effort to help me find the perfect product. They even made sure to let me know about stock availability. All in all, it was a really great experience.
Helpful staff, friendly delivery guys, warranty activation issue
So, I popped over to this shop with the blue and white logo, yeah? The staff there were really friendly and always helped me out when I needed it. Even the delivery guys were dead nice, not grumpy like some of them can be. But, had a bit of a hiccup when I tried to activate my warranty. Gave the number a ring they gave me, but it didn't work for three whole days, like what's up with that? I gave it a go on a Friday, got cut off twice when I finally spoke to someone. It was like talking to a robot or something, dead frustrating! Eventually got it sorted, and they told me I didn't even need to call because the warranty was activated when I bought it. Why didn't they say that from the start, would've saved me time and hassle, you know? Other than that, no biggie, the team there are pretty cool. Cheers, guys!
TV purchase with elderly grandparents
I had a really good time shopping for a TV with my elderly grandparents. The guy, Ben, who worked there was so helpful, patient, and knew what he was talking about. He took the time to help my grandparents, even though they were a bit slow. Ben was great at looking after customers and he made shopping really nice. I definitely suggest this shop, especially if you need help with tech stuff.
Dishwasher installation
I had a bit of a nightmare with the installation of my new dishwasher recently. The installers did a good job of removing the old one, but when it came to putting in the new dishwasher, things went downhill. They tried to cut and join the hose instead of replacing it, which led to a leak. Despite their attempts to sort it out, the issue persisted. Even after we pointed out the water leak, they insisted it was fine and left without finishing the job properly. To add insult to injury, they took out some planks during the installation and didn't bother putting them back, leaving a mess. Instead of sorting out the problem, they just told us to get a plumber in to fix it.
New cooker purchase
I recently bought a new cooker from the shop and opted for delivery and installation. I debated whether to hire a local electrician for the installation, but ended up deciding to just get everything sorted at once. And I must say, it was definitely the right call! The team that came to install the cooker were incredibly friendly, efficient, and really knew their stuff. They took away my old cooker without any trouble and had the new one set up in a flash. They even took the time to show me how to use it correctly. I'm really pleased with the service, top job guys! 👍
new 4g LV 55...quot... TV
NEVER BUY IN STORE as they will not refund if it's wrong with delivery you have 30 days to return in store if you open the box to check they refuse to take it back ,have asked how do you check it's OK without opening the box ? We have a bought a expensive TV that we where told would change our veiwing but not told it would not do it on an aerial and requires signing up to a pay to view system so we have a top of the range TV that is no good to us and they would not return it back in store as box was opened!
Samsung tablets
PC world/Currys are the worst. Gave me a quote and I paid for the items, then they said that I had to pay more as the price had gone up. Is that even legal? Customer services as useful as a ... in a sieve, thus far, no refund, no tablets and I'm £700 out of pocket. If I could leave zero stars I would, as all they have done is take my money.
Ipad
This is the second time we have had a problem with aftersales on products that go wrong. bought an Apple Ipad just under two years ago and it then stopped working. Would not turn back on at all. We took it into store and they tried but could not get it to turn on. They advised us to take to an Apple store shop, we took it to a store and they booked us an appointment to do a diagnostic on it. After going back for the diagnostic they said it was a integrated fault and is not repairable and advised us to go back to Currys PC World. Went there the same day and they took details and said they have to email the out of warranty department and they will call us within 48 hours but then said it would be 7 days as busy. 9 days later had heard nothing so called store and a manager said he would look into it and call back after weekend on Monday. No call back yet again so went into store the next day and after them calling up the relevant department they said they had sent a letter out offering £124 odd part refund but can not do this now as no reply. We got no letter, they had mobile number and email to contact us and nothing was even said about them sending a letter. You do not expect an ipad to only last 23 months. They should be replacing it or cost of it against a new one. But yet again they pass you back and forth and waste our time.
Will certainly not buy from them again.Gas cooker
Positive in past 15 years always had great service. Currently it has been horrendous. I have been left with faulty gas cooker which has now been condemned and voucher issued for replacement. This issue has been ongoing for over 3 months. Delivery / installation was booked for 3rd July. I waited in all day and phoned to be told it will now be 17th July, no reason given, No contact to tell me. I feel sorry for call centre staff who have to deal with things like this. I have made numerous calls and on one occasion given a premium rate number to call by one customer care agent, I wasn't told it was going to cost me premium rate call. As a 68 year old disabled person on state pension only I can ill afford numerous phone calls let alone a £10 call, ! Not once have I received any help to resolve this. So now taking the matter further. What once was a caring trustworthy company has now turned into a totally uncaring / unhelpful one who puts profits before customer services. I would cancel my order but would only get a voucher which means I would need to purchase from this abysmal uncaring company. Shame on youI'll never purchase anything from this company again.
