My experience with Direct Doors was an absolute nightmare from the beginning to the end. I bought sliding doors that cost £1300 and was really let down by both the product and the customer service. The instructions they gave were so complicated that even a skilled carpenter struggled to make sense of them. When I brought up my concerns about the door being damaged and the pelmet being shorter than the metal track it's supposed to cover, I was met with resistance instead of help. The customer service team had an excuse for everything I mentioned, but no solution to make sure I was happy. It seems like they prefer arguing back rather than making sure their customers are completely satisfied. They wanted me to do things like cutting the metal track and routering the flush handles into the door fronts myself, which would risk damaging the veneer. Overall, it was a really frustrating and disappointing experience.
Lost part replacement for double pocket door system
I recently had to get a replacement part for my double pocket door system as I lost an important piece while decorating the door. I contacted customer service to ask about getting a spare, and I was happy to receive a quick response within just 1 hour. The lady I spoke to, Kiera, was really helpful and sorted out the issue promptly. I was pleased to hear that a pair of replacement parts would be on their way to me in the next post dispatch. 2 really awesome doors
I bought 2 really nice firedoor sets from this place. The staff were really friendly and listened to what I wanted. They even let me make some changes to my order without any issues! Putting the doors up was really simple and they looked fantastic in my house. I'm really pleased with both the doors and the service I received from this place.
Luxury door purchase
I recently splurged on a fancy door for my kitchen, costing me about £3k. To my dismay, the quality of the doors did not meet my expectations. The whole ordeal was quite disappointing, especially given the hefty price tag. Their aftersales service was absolutely dreadful, the worst I've ever encountered. It seems like the company's Terms and Conditions favour them more than they care about customer satisfaction. After reading other reviews, it's evident that they are quick to dismiss and defend themselves when faced with complaints. In conclusion, I would advise against using this company.
Front door purchase
I bought a new front door from this company not long ago, and I must say, I was really impressed with how well they looked after me. The staff made sure to check all the measurements were spot on before finalising the order, which was great. When the door arrived, it was packaged securely and in top-notch condition. It's a beaut of a stable style wooden door with lovely big double glazed windows in the top part, just like it was shown on the website.

Also, I wasn't too happy about the return policy, they didn't make it clear that it would cost £500 to send an item back! That's not great.
