My tomato plants arrived on a scorching day and all looked droopy and sorry for themselves - proper disappointing, that was! Gave customer services a ring and they sorted me out with some fresh ones that were in top condition, and now they're thriving like nobody's business. Big up the customer service team for real!
Four plants
I was proper chuffed with my last purchase from Gardening Direct. The four plants I ordered came in mint condition and were well-wrapped for shipping. You could tell they really made an effort to make sure the plants got to me all safe and sound. The plants themselves were top-notch quality and looked even nicer in real life than they did online. I was well happy with the whole thing and would definitely think about getting plants from them again down the line.
Replacement plants
I needed to get in touch with customer service about an issue with my order, but I have to say, they dealt with it promptly and politely. The replacement plants were really good quality and arrived quite fast. I am really pleased with the service and the plants themselves. Thank you.
Plant and flower purchase
I bought some plants and flowers from this site not long ago, and I must say, they were really good quality - even better than I expected. They arrived in great condition and are now doing really well in my garden. Though, I was a bit let down that I wasn't told when the rest of my order would be delivered. It would be great if the communication around delivery times could be better in the future.
Trailing Surfinia Plugs
I recently bought some Trailing Surfinia Plugs from this shop and I have to say, I'm really pleased with what I got. Although I was a bit let down by the lack of colour variety, the plants arrived in excellent condition and have been thriving ever since I put them in the ground. It was my first time trying out this company and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the products were.
Garden ready begonia plants
The service was spot on, my plants turned up right on time. The quality of the garden-ready plants was top-notch, and they were packaged up really well. I couldn't be happier with them!
Plants in excellent condition
I bought some plants from this company not too long ago, and I have to say, they arrived in really good condition. They were delivered right on time as they said they would be, which was a nice surprise. I would totally recommend this company to anyone, and I've already gone ahead and made another purchase from them.
Plant purchase with disappointing quality
The plants I bought came in good condition at first, but when I looked closer, I realised two of them were hardly there at all. I didn't bother to moan about it because I'd already been waiting ages for them to turn up, and I just wanted to get them in the ground. Anyway, despite that, the rest of the plants are fine and are growing nicely.

I recently bought some plants from this company and I have to say, I am really impressed. The plants arrived at my house in perfect condition, they were packaged carefully and obviously well looked after. It’s clear that this company takes a lot of pride in their products and makes sure they are top quality before sending them out. I am really pleased with the plants I got and I can already see them doing well in my garden. I would definitely suggest this company to anyone looking for excellent gardening supplies.
Mixed perennial plug plants and Phlox plugs
I bought a mix of perennial plug plants and some Phlox plugs from your shop not long ago. I was really pleased when they arrived because they looked great and healthy. I've potted them on and they're doing really well - ready to be planted out soon after only three weeks. I'm so happy with how well they've been growing. I'll definitely be coming back to buy more from you and will keep using your services in the future.
Recent plant purchase
I bought some plants from Gardening Direct recently and was really happy with the quality when they arrived. They weren't damaged much, which was a big relief because plants can be pretty delicate. I also wanted to give a shoutout to the new Yodel delivery guy - he did a fantastic job. He's way better than the last person who delivered, and I really appreciated his professionalism.
Plants, great size, excellent quality
I recently bought some plants and they arrived super fast. The plants were in excellent condition and a really decent size. They're probably some of the best plants I've ever received! I'm really pleased with my purchase and I'll definitely be shopping here again.
Large hanging baskets
Recently, I ordered four big hanging baskets from Gardening Direct. I was really let down by how they arrived. Out of the two that have been delivered, they both came in a sorry state because they weren't packaged well. One of them was all squashed, and the other had its stuff all over the place and had to be put back in the soil. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the last two will be in better shape when they arrive.
I ordered 2 huge bags of compost!
I bought these huge bags of compost and they seem really good. The delivery came on time and they brought it right to my house. Overall, it was all pretty good.
Replacement item for lost purchase
I'm afraid my initial order got lost somewhere after it left Gardening Direct. At first, I was quite let down, but when I got in touch with Customer Services, I was really impressed with the way Andile Zamisa handled everything. Andile was so helpful and even went the extra mile by giving me the choice to pick out a new item of the same value. The whole process was really easy and quick, and the replacement item arrived promptly. Now I'm happily watching it flourish in my garden. I can't thank Andile enough for their amazing help and top-notch customer service.
Lavender plants
Placed order on 24th March, still awaiting delivery!
12 lupins and 12 lobelias
Very disappointed with the service. Ordered 12 lupins and 12 campanulas for my mother's birthday on 30th April. 12 lupins were delivered on 12th May. Still haven't had the campanulas. It's now the 6th June. At the bottom of the order form it stated that the order would be delivered between the beginning and the end of May. Sent them an email on 27th May to find out when the second part of the order would be delivered. Haven't had a reply. Tried calling them, no one answers. Won't be using this site again.

Only wish I could post photos!!!Various but issue with wallflower wizard
Box delivered. Was to be 12 mega plants inside. Soil everywhere in box. Half the plants broken off at base so unusable and the other half clearly been tossed around and battered. Doubt they will survive. Sent photos and complaint but no reply. I want a refund for this delivery.
We ordered goods for four addresses and paid £128, but no goods were received. After complaining we have been promised a refund. Don’t hold my breath.
