Halfway through scrolling my mate's Instagram I impulsively added this to my basket, then froze a bit — direct debit? I was certain it was a sneaky subscription trap. I called customer service before paying, expecting theatre, but the rep was blunt and clear and even emailed a breakdown. Not perfect, I still eyed my bank, but the fuss I feared never happened and that honestly surprised me.

I was half expecting this to be one of those small, mildly irritating admin sagas and then it turned into a full-on faff. I subscribed because I rarely leave the flat and wanted a steady stream of mags to stop me staring at the same wall, so I ordered late February and ticked the paper copies option. I also specifically asked that this be a one-off run of the 26 issues — no auto-renew, please — and asked them to hold the order until they confirmed that. That sounds simple, right? Apparently not.
Subscription to a magazine with varied content
Woman's Weekly is great because it covers a lot of different things and has really nice, colourful pages. I like that it's not full of the usual celebrity stuff like other magazines. Subscribing to it is a bit cheaper than buying it every week, and it's really easy to do.

What does that mean, exactly? I found a deal for a magazine subscription recently, but the way it was explained was a bit confusing. The wording "6 issues followed by £15.00 every 6 issues" made it sound like I would get 6 issues first and then be charged £15 for the next 6, whether I liked it or not. This lack of clarity made me uncertain about subscribing. I like to know all the costs and payment details upfront before I agree to buy anything.

Hi, this is my order number, 100679584, after 4 weeks, I've yet to receive any copies of the magazine,. I've tried to contact the publisher to no avail. Can you please advise me when I will be getting my magazines.
3 childrens magazine subscriptions
I placed the orders on 12/12/20 and although a bit of a delay with 2 of them it is the 3rd one that is causing the most problems. I ordered ChickaDEE for my 6 year old grandchild. After a number of emails, as of today I have requested a refund as they still cannot give me a delivery date. They say its 10-12weeks from ordering before they can deliver!!! Also I am also being told postal deliveries are delayed due to Covid 19.......! I had to individually contact the magazines myself.....on contacting magazine.co.uk themselves I had no answer to 2 emails I sent despite them being the ones the monies were paid too.
