I bought a DVD set online not long ago, wanting to add it to my collection. It was supposed to be in 'as new' condition, so I was happy to pay a bit extra for that. The delivery was quick and the DVDs looked okay. But when I opened it, the smell was strong - like it had come from a home of a smoker. The case even had some yellow marks. It was really disappointing to get something that wasn't what I was expecting.
Second-hand clothing purchase
The clothes I got from this shop were really cool and stylish. The best bit was they were second-hand, so I felt like I was being sustainable and helpful to the environment. I wanted to share something that happened recently that really bothered me. My husband got some emails and a letter from a charity thanking him for supporting them. The weird thing is, he never actually donated or bought anything from them. They even asked him to sign up for Gift Aid on donations he never made. It's made me worry about privacy and protecting our data.
Advent calendar purchase
I bought an advent calendar in early November, but didn't get it until halfway through December! The shipping note was printed on the 9th, so it wasn't Royal Mail's fault. Plus, they charged me £3.95 for postage on a £3.99 item! It's just crazy. What's even the point of having an advent calendar when most of the days have already gone by?

Support for Gaza Children
I had a lovely visit from two amazing girls, Anisha and Isabelle, who stopped by our house to discuss supporting Gaza children with Oxfam. They were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they did a great job of explaining everything. It was really refreshing to meet such dedicated and passionate individuals working for Oxfam. Both my parents and I were really pleased with their visit.
Nothing
Just like a scam site, Oxfam only wanted me to tick the donations box when giving credit card details for products that weren't available for sale. Clever tactic..
