Bought this again after moving flats — needed a decent bedside lamp for reading with sore eyes. Service was helpful, quick replies, and the lamp's sturdy.
Surprising little win
First time buying from Pooky, grabbed the rechargeable table lamps — classy look, solid feel and the battery actually lasts ages, surprised me. Bit pricey but worth it, I'd say
Cosy little find
Didn't expect it to look this good — the shade fabric is proper lush, really pleased. Needed something after moving and a sore back had me choosing softer light; delivery was quick, great service.
Good lights, small snag
Hung above a gallery in the hallway — they make the pictures pop, feel well-built and are easy to adjust. Arrived promptly and I'm pleased, though the 5% new-customer discount wasn't applied.
Spotted via a mate
Halfway through unboxing, I remembered I spotted this brand on a mate's Instagram; delivery was prompt and well-tracked, customer service helpful though replies can lag, product's good, not flawless.
Mostly impressed
They aren’t flawless but these lights really work — sleek and cosy, easy to move about. Delivery was spot on and customer service sorted a small query quickly. Would buy again, just wish price was lower.
Lamps lovely, delivery not great
Halfway through unpacking I remembered my doubts — had bad deliveries before — but the lamps looked great, Pooky clearly did a good job. Shame the courier (DPD) messed things up, annoyingly slow and careless.
Spotted at a mate's
Walked into my mate's flat and spotted this. Bought one straight away. Wall fixings being included made life easy, no last-minute hardware run. Remote cover is neat too. I'm actually ordering a second, because it just fits our space nicely and it feels proper value.
Cosy upgrade for an old lamp
Halfway through a late-night read I noticed how the new Pooky shade softens the room — the fabric has a lovely weight and the light is warm, perfect for my inherited lamp base; tiny crease but nothing major.
Sorted by Lowry
Came back to this after a couple of weeks — a mate tipped me off about the site. My order arrived late and a few items were mixed up, but Lowry in customer service sorted it, calm and professional. Delivery wasn't perfect, but service made me come back.
Small gripe about the lead
Didn’t expect to fuss about the cable, but I do — the lamp itself is lovely, proper bright and that olive‑green lead actually looks quite smart. Problem is it’s only about 1.4m so we had to use an ugly white extension. Would’ve been five stars; please list cable length.
Warm light, no fuss
We've hung this copper lamp above our small table; it throws a warm, cosy glow — handy for late coffee and sorting bills. Delivery was quick; the outer box was bashed but the bubble wrap saved it. Fitting was straightforward, took about ten minutes, and yeah, the finish feels sturdier than I expected.
Lamps that finally fit

I popped into the new Gloucester showroom to look for a lampshade for my grandparents' old base and expected to come away empty-handed. The staff were quietly brilliant — they measured, suggested a few styles and didn't push. I knew I was happy when the final shade sat right on the lamp; that moment made it worth it. I also picked up wall and outdoor lights from the outlet — some pieces had minor scuffs but everything worked. I already told my sister to go.
Caught by a lampshade
Oddly enough I first noticed one of these shades in a shop window and it stuck with me. It’s not just pretty — the fabric has a weight to it and the light it throws makes my room feel calmer, like a cosy pub corner. Fitting was simple, bulbs look nicer through it, and the colour hasn’t faded. Sent from Germany, customs delayed me but support sorted it quickly. Quite pleased, would buy again — check the size before ordering.
Mixed results, bit of a faff
Overall, I'm underwhelmed — two of the four pendants look great but it's spoiled by one that's badly scratched and a shade that's a different colour, plus a noticeable bubble in one glass. We hung them over our kitchen island and it jars every morning. I tried emailing and kept getting cut off on the customer service number, so no help. Bit disappointing given the price; would consider again only if quality control and support actually improve.
Late-night plugless win
