Legit but slow

Handy but risky
handy for small buys but don't risk big ones unless you're ready to jump through ID hoops. First the cheap PSN card I bought arrived in under ten minutes, which felt reassuring, so I tried a larger one. Paid with Google Pay and the payment went through, but the ID check failed repeatedly — four times in my case, which was annoying. The good bit is refunds were pretty speedy each time, usually within twenty minutes, so I never actually lost money. WhatsApp support felt robotic and didn't help much; email was slightly better but still no solution. If you're buying a high-value card, double-check your verification docs or use another payment method. Worth trying, just be prepared.
Soft warning after a few tries
I was a bit on the fence about buying — a mate had mentioned it and I saw the app in the App Store, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'd ordered from them before without any trouble, which is why I went ahead. This time I paid with my Wise card via the App Store and the item never turned up. Then they started asking for a stack of documents I didn’t expect or feel obliged to send. It felt like overkill and, to be honest, a bit dodgy. After a fair amount of back-and-forth I ended up opening a dispute with Wise and got the money back, so that part was sorted but it was a hassle. Support replied, sometimes helpful, sometimes slow — inconsistent really. So, not a total disaster, and previous orders were fine, but this latest experience left me wary. I wouldn’t recommend rushing into anything if you value a straightforward process; they work, sometimes, but their checks and delivery can be a pain.
Lost-my-coffee moment
the card only works with a UK Apple account. I sent it to the US by mistake and couldn't redeem it, which was a proper facepalm. If you're in the UK it's fine, elsewhere be careful.
PS5 games purchase
I've just bought some PS5 games online from Startselect because I couldn't find them locally.
